Nog/Couture - One of the best fights I've seen period.

Liddell/Wandy - Amazing fight that I'm pretty sure everyone wanted to see finished some way or another.

Griffin/Bonnar - Considering that if you combined both these fighters power you still wouldn't get through a piece of paper, I don't think anyone expected it to be finished in the first place. It was exciting though.

Crocop/Fedor - Something I've wanted to see again for a long time but not so much anymore. This fight though was simply amazing to me.

Shogun/Machida - A very technical war thet I enjoyed very much regardless of winner even though I thought the right decision was made. Man I can't wait until the rematch, it seems like its been so long ago.

P.S. This is in no specific order.

First I gotta say it - Chuck vs. Wandy was an over hyped kickboxing match where no one really did anything. People keep acting like it was some kind of action packed slugfest but it really wasn't. If this was Jim Smith vs. Mark Johnson on the prelims no one would care. I feel the same about Griffin vs. Bonnar; hindsight just makes it obvious neither guy has any real power so them punching each other 20 times doesn't mean as much now. Also, I apply this same bias to the entire 155 division. I know the fights are exciting and there's lots of big shots landed, but outside of BJ, there's hardly anyone with real power so a 15 min slugfest or hugfest fails to impress me as much.

My personal top 10 (for UFC in no particular order) are :

Rutten vs. Randleman
Randy vs. Rizzo I
GSP vs. Penn I
Ortiz vs. Griffin I
Karo vs. Diego
Hughes vs. Sherk
Randy vs. Sylvia
Randy vs. Nog
Sonnen vs. Marquardt
Machida vs. Ortiz
