Love that fact that they handed out 3 KOTN bonuses.
It sends a direct message to all the fighters. If you show up to provide top quality entertainment to the UFC fans then you get paid. If you show up to eek out a decision and take few risks, you'll get your basic.
It's exactly the way it should be and gives some of the lower tier fighters the opportunity to really push up their earnings and make names for themselves. If you want the big bucks, earn them, it's that simple.

Keep in mind, UFC didn't do a Fight of the Night bonus. So the same amount of people ended up getting bonuses.

The truth is that Vera has lost his killer touch (See what I did there ) | I've never really been impressed with Vera, he can be kinda boring to watch.
After the Couture fight I lost interest in him.
That being said, he does seem to be in a bit of a slump.

Wouldn't be too surprised myself to see Vera in SF, there are a lot of talented LHWs in the UFC.

Double J showed me one of the first forearm/elbow that was thrown from full guard that was not intended to cut. It was beautiful.
I only saw one real KO, and that was Howard.
Vera verbally submitted; Gonzaga got rocked, and submitted to strikes following the knockdown.
Would be nice to see the other fights....Guida and Gromley.
I hate when they give a bonus to a guy and don't air the fight....oh well, guess I will have to wait a day or 2 before they are in the UFC Vault and show up on the internet.
I was upset to see Irvin cower after getting hit perfectly in the eye...I expect to see Irvin get one more chance in the UFC since the weight drop, but not sure how much he deserves it.....especially looking at his last 5 fights over the past 3 years.

A knuckle in the eye could't feel good, but I have no experience with such things. I expected a little more out of the Sandman.
When Buentello's pinky was dislocated or whatever, I thought there was gonna be two bad ones in a row. Thank goodness he could continue, futile as it may have been.
