There is no way that this fight happens yet. Maybe on down the road, but the UFC has put some serious muscle into developing these guys images and I don't see them knocking one down a notch by pitting them against one another. Now if they have another cursed card where they need some huge fight, then and only then can I see that fight happening. Most likely, you're gonna see Cain get a crack at number 1 contendership/possible title shot and Dos santos getting the loser of the Mir Carwin fight. Just my opinion.

If Big Country gets past Struve you can throw him into the mix too, he's more than just your average TUF winner

They have to put them against each other. we don't know when brock will be back.
so Carwin vs Mir or interim title.
dos santos vs Cain.

I would be content with either of those fights happening since Cain isn't likely. Besides I would rather see Cain fight Carwin.

If Nelson gets by Struve (which I don't expect him to do), there are problems with throwing him into the mix like that. One, he'd likely get annihilated by any of the four or five top HWs in the UFC. He won't be able to hang with the top wrestlers (thereby negating his gut-smother advantage), and his track record against good strikers is somewhat iffy; hell, he wanted nothing to do with Kimbo's standup, and even Justin Wren tagged him a couple of times.

Two, he's just good enough to have a chance at a major spoiler. And there is NO WAY IN HELL the UFC risks that. If Nelson beats Struve, I expect him to get Gonzaga.

This fight needs to happen, at this moment it would be awesome. The 2 have been very dominant in their last fights.
Actually also I would like to see Carwin vs JDS.

^^^This i agree with. I think the winner of Carwin vs Mir (Who i personally think is going to be Mir) will not be ready able to fight Brock right away which will send Cain up to fight Brock. JDS will fight the lose of Mir vs Carwin (which i feel is Carwin) and if he wins that fight i belive he will fight Brock later this year. This is how i see things happenings, but mind you this is just a prediction no real facts supporting.

Carwin vs Mir- Mir wins but has an injury and has to wait for his shot

Brock vs Cain- Brock wins


JDS vs Carwin- JDS wins

Brock vs JDS- I don't care who wins i like both but think Brock.

I hope JDS wants to fight cain, after cain beating big nog, and nog training with JDS. Watching the fights the other night, this is the fight my buddies and I were talking about, and no reason why this fight couldnt happen VERY soon. Ohh how I hope it does.

Personally, I want to see Dos Santos, Carwin, and Cain all fight each other.

I mean, took about 3 guys plowing down the entire division in a race to the title. Two are undefeated, 1 had a loss before he was in the UFC. I see Carwin blasting threw Mir. And I feel like Dos Santos and Cain need to fight for the #1 spot, where as the loser fights Mir.

Of course this fight will happen sooner or later but not right now quite simply because of a basic saying, "Killing two birds with one stone".
