Well I see him doing just that, so I personally would like to see him against the winner/loser of Lil Nog/Griffin. It's a fight that I'm sure everyone wants to see, will be a win whichever way you look at it (Jones beat TUF1 Winner & Former LHW Champ or Jones beats Brazilian Wrecking Machine and little brother to big Nog or Nog/Griffin beat seemingly unreal up & comer Jon Jones), and is a fight that I'm sure he will be the underdog in. That is my take on it and I want to see Jones pushed, so I voted Lil Nog.
P.S. And there is no way Dana makes a Jones/Spider fight anytime soon. |
Agreed
I want to see him fight Griffin.

I know it's a bit early for this kind of hype, but Jones could conceivably be the first man since Couture to hold both the HW and LHW belts at some point.
Truly, I believe the only threats for him at LHW are Page, Machida, and possibly Lil Nog.

Truly, I believe the only threats for him at LHW are Page, Machida, and possibly Lil Nog. | I will take a 1 year sig bet that Jones will never hold the HW belt unless he goes on the Overeem diet. He's a big LHW but would be a tiny HW.
I would like to see Jones vs Tito just cause i like to see Tito get his ass kicked
Outside of the UFC Jones vs Gegard would be a dream fight at this point in their careers.

Anderson, Machida, Shogun, Thiago, Rashad. Take your pick. He's capable of beating any of them...
He and Dos Santos will be champs as soon as they get their shot. I know they say they are young and no need to rush, but at the same time, no need to hold them back either. Those guys are ready. They aren't just beating the best out there, they are freaking dominating them and they can no longer be considered flukes.
These two are surely second in line for a title shot after Carwin/Mir and Machida. I can't see Rashad or Rampage or Randy being ready for Shogun or Machida at this point.

Outside of the UFC Jones vs Gegard would be a dream fight at this point in their careers. | He's gone on record saying that he'll be moving up to HW in a couple of years. We've got to remember, dude's only 22; his body is still growing and filling out, and he already cuts a lot of weight to make 205. On top of that, he has the longest recorded reach of anyone, regardless of weight class, in the UFC right now. Could you imagine what would happen if he packed on 20 extra pounds of muscle?
