Bloodbeard - I've got no doubt his strategy would mimick the one he used against Kongo however, as you asked, yes his striking performance as a whole against Nog (not just the knockout punch) has convinced me Cain can strike with any HW.

I'm totally convinced he could KO JDS. When I say "could easily" distinguish my meaning from the words "would" or "will".

First I like JDS a lot and I think he is one of the most exicting fighters in the UFC period barring any division. That being said...

He is overrated at this point and I think is getting a lot of props for the WAY he beats people not who he beats. Outside of Werdum he has been feed guys who are good match-ups for him and who will stand and bang with him. Yes some people will point to Gonzaga and his world class BJJ black belt, but when was the last time we really saw Gonzaga show his ground game?

I do think Cain and JDS should fight and I also think Cain would hand him a beating. I personally do not think the division is as tight as everyone makes it out to be and by this time next year the UFC HW division is going to be Cain on top and then followed by everyone else.

Out of all the top HW "prospects", I think he is the most underrated. Carwin beats Gonzaga and gets a title shot. Who did he beat before that? Cans. Cain beats Kongo, Rothwell, and Nog. Which is impressive but Nog is the only top ranked oppenent he has fought. Dos Santos beat Werdum, Struve, Cro Cop, Yvel and Gonzaga. Which is a pretty impressive list especially considering it was all by KO.
