I think GSP should move up. The only person I think might have a shot to beat him at 170 is Kos. If Kos comes into this fight knowing he can get taken down and a better gameplan he might be able to win. Everyon forgets that Kos held his owne against GSP and actually won a round. He has the wrestling ability to maybe slow GSP's takedowns.
The one thing I truly respect about Anderson and BJ is there not afraid to test themselves. Even though BJ is a smaller fighter he has moved up to 170 against bigger fighters and kinda held his owne. Anderson has moved up but you cant really say he is small at 205 though.
GSP IMO just seems content on beating people who arent as good as him. He is really starting to remind me of Tim Slyvia. He could try to finish the fights but is scared to make a mistake so he plays it safe.

I say they all stay, let them become complete legends and dominate their weighclass until they retire.
MMA is still evolving, new challengers will come, look at the HW division. 1 year ago, it was the worst division in MMA, now they have 2-3 legitimate contenders to the title. Just give it time

The reason people should not move up, is two-fold. First, they are the best in the world, at least compared to those that actually compete. Billions of people are out there. It amazes me that they can be significantly better at all. One would think that the difference would be minimal between the top 5. So, why should someone be pressured to ruin their legacy unless they really want the legacy of multiple divisions. If they vacate, then you have a 'fake' champ.
If they just bounce in and out of their class and still attempt to hold the title, then you end up with the belt being defended maybe once a year at best. With medical suspensions and timing, it would be a nightmare more than it already is. Then you have more 'fake' interim champs. Behind their back, the fans are saying, 'yeah, you are only champ because ______ left'
It is one thing if the fighter says. 'I am going to retire at XXX weight and become the next XXX champ', but there should be no pressure by fans for any kind of move. The reason legends are made is because guys were so dominant for a long period of time. If GSP goes out and fights a moderate contender guy like Sonnen, loses, then can't defend his belt for 6 months, then there is an interim champion, it really changes the essence of the legacy that he has earned.
Somebody has these guys' kryptonite. All it takes is a guy like Lutter, but a smidge better, to come out and beat Silva. That messes with his head. He is no longer the sure fire dominant force. It will happen, unless they just retire. I say let the up-and-comer earn their share of their legacy by beating the best. It will happen. Look how fast Silva walked in and started taking names.

I really was not impressed with GSP in that fight. He has said so much about how much stronger he has became, how much power he has, but he just goes back to controlling a guy on the ground and inflicting minimal damage. He has decent armlocks from the top, but it wasn't enough to stop GSP even though he was completely dominating him in the grappling. I still would like to see GSP rematch Koshcheck and Fitch, and fight Daley.

bj should hes dominated the division and wants vengance on gsp and won't have to do much to make welterweight and i honestly think gsp will have to build his weight up more to fight middle weight so im going with bj. also anderson doesn't defend the title that much and hasn't fought many of the guys ranked at the top of the weight class right now(due to fighting LHW or being given leites as an opponent) so i say he should have a few more title defense against the likes of vitor and sonnen first just to solidify his greatness.

well GSP still has possible fights of Paulo Thiago and Paul Daley that could happen and the only one i can think of for Silva is Vitor and maybe Wandy if he can pull a few wins. But I dont see any potential decent match ups for BJ Penn. Unless Gomi comes with a fire up his ass I think he could move up but he wont get passed GSP anyway. I think its time for the superfight.. GSP vs Spider.

If and when Hendo comes back to the UFC, I still REALLY want to see him take on Silva
