| The UFC needs HeavyWeights B-A-D !!
Tim S. is a child compared to the rest of the organization's HW.

Heavyweights and Lightheavyweights are the most likely to be up next.

I could also see them doing a USA vs. Canada or something along those lines for the two teams.

I mean there's always talk about how the MMA guys always hate on the reality show guys so "legit" fighters like AA and Monson would probably take it like spitting in their face.

That's true...I don't think Monson would probably ever get a title shot again as long as Tim has the belt...same with AA after the last fight...I just thought I'd bring that up as a point of argument...it would be interesting though but I think with what I've learned at least from "comeback" fighters on TUF is that it gets boring seeing them train because they are already vets and don't necessarily go as hard and aren't necessarily as willing to learn as the upstarts are...that's how it was this past season when Rich was the guest trainer and it was evident with some of the other episodes as well

I like the comeback show ,but I understand your point. With the new guys you get to see them learn and evolve as fighters ,you didn't get to see that so much with the comeback guys.

Agreed on those points...we see the intensity, sure, because of what still hangs in the balance, but there isn't really much evolution to speak of.
The USA v. Canada idea has a pinch of merit to it, but I honestly think the whole rivalry is just silly...I mean, who cares? And does it really matter? If one Canadian has a title, some other Canadian isn't going to want it any less.
Or am I naive and shortsighted? |

I agree with the idea about getting fighters from other organizations and seeing who is good enough. I think they would get a lot of talent and fighters who want to make it in the US would get name recognition.
(on a side note, obviously this wouldn't happen, throw Wandy in there and if he wins, he gets a shot at Chuck, guaranteed. That way we can see Chuck knock him out) Just my thoughts.
