Of course i saw the fight. but how many times have we seen fight when guys are able to roll back into their backs?
and how many times have we seen other ref's let Matt Hughes sit on top of some one and keep on laying shots on his opponent when they were like Mir? MANY but i don't remember people saying shit back than.

Are you referencing Hughes fight with Royce? I like how you can turn anything into a brazilian fighter vs anyone else debate. Love it! Anyways, the difference was Royce had his hands up by his head and was moving from side to side. Frank Mir was completely limp with his arms out from his body not moving, even when getting hit in the head. Hughes also had Royce mounted where as Shane was almost in a back side control position.

Yeah it was just ridiculous. Even Carwin was confused he had a WTF? look on his face after bludgeoning Murr's big, facedown head.

Shoddy ref'in should result in fines, pay dock, or at least suspension from duties. Perhaps not on the first offense, which wasn't the case Saturday anyway.

Matt Hughes hitting someone that is defending themselves is <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Shane Carwin hitting someone that is KO'd and not defending.

I think Carwin hits a little harder than Hughes too.
