i didnt mention rashad! and there was only one shot from rampage that did all the damage, and didnt look that big. He took alot more shots from Wanderlei imo.

All i was trying to say is maybe the break is wat he needed and he was never being dominated by any of them which means if his chin is a bit better he could contend again.

Also i hope there isnt a 4th randy n chuck id rather see them fight other people.

I'm not sure if the UFC is banking on generating higher ratings for TUF with this matchup or ppv revenue from Chuck v Tito III. I guess they're hoping for both, although probably the very last possible fight matchup that I'd want to pay money for is this one.

This rivalry was relevant nearly 10 years ago but now only appeals to each fighter's hardcore fans in my opinion.

I'll pass on this one.

tune up fight? he cant hang with anyone else other than coleman or randy.
i wish he would go up to heavy weight so Dos Santos would FORCE him into retirement.

a right hook from rampage, not that hard? rampage hits harder than any current ufc LHW's. rampage said his most powerful punch is his right hook and dont forget that was liddells first time getting ko'ed in the UFC. It is easier to get Ko'ed each time. LOL but tito actually thinks he can knock chuck out. he said "I can knock chuck out now" not just that he could beat him

they both arent top10 material.
Thats because Tito Ortiz doesn't have great standup. Hes forced to go in for the takedown lol.

Please read my posts correctly b4 u comment.

1. I didnt say rampage dosent hit hard.
2. I said it didnt look that hard meaning didnt look like it should have ko'd him.
3. That is your opinion on who hits the hardest at LHW, not fact.
4. Dont imply i forgot anything.
5. You saying its easier to get ko'd each time is basically exactly what i have been saying the whole time about how easily he got ko'd and that a break might help his chin.

I don't really think this is the point. Chuck may never be champ again, actually most likely will not, but who cares? There are maybe 2 or 3 legitimate contenders for a title at any time - there are tons of UFC fighters who won't be champ. He wants to fight, I would bet pounds to pesos that he's still going to be a HUGE PPV draw and he can probably still compete in the middle of the pack.

It's really hard to say what Chuck has left. I think the Tito fight will answer a lot of questions for a lot of people. Maybe he needed to re charge his batterie? Who knows? We all can agree that Chuck has the power to end a fight at the drop of a hat so that still makes him dangerous. He still has a great base for his sprawl and brawl style. Things I would like to see from Chuck would be for him to keep his hands up, which I know is hard for him to do because his Kempo style was keeping them down for so long and to implement more of his leg kicks. I don't care if he starts taking people down but I think as long as he keep his hands up and work on his head movement he can avoid some of those big shots. Out of all of Chuck's losses, the only fight he looked bad in was the Shogun fight in my opinion. Like many people before me have pointed out, he was beating Rashad until he was hit with a shot that would of put any man out, I don't care who would of been across from Rashad when he unleashed that shotgun blast, they were done for. But he wasn't just "there" in that fight but he was winning that fight. The Jardine fight I think everyone can agree on was a fight that he completely over looked and paid the price. And still he didn't get dominated and lost a split decision which could of went his way. 'Page clipped him and we didn't really see much out of that fight. I honestly believe 'Page has Chuck's number and no matter how many times they fight, 'Page wins almost all the time. Nothing wrong there, it just happens. Look at Fedor and Big Nog, or Big Nog and Heath Herring. Some fighters just have "it" over another figher. The fight were he looked slow, plodding, flat footed, and out of shape was the Shogun fight. It seemed Chuck was winded when he stepped into the cage. Some could say I'm making excuses but I'm just trying to call it like I see it. In no way can I see Tito beat Chuck and if Chuck wins, then Tito would of lost his last 3 with a draw to Rashad?
