| Dana White plans to sell out Cowboys stadium. Quote:
If you're not familiar with the Cowboys Stadium that awkwardly sits in the middle of Arlington, Texas, then just know that it's host to the world's largest HDTV. If you wanted to sneak in your Xbox and rock some Halo 3 then you're too late, someone already beat you to it. The stadium can accommodate a mind-numbing 80,000 occupants and Dana White wants to sell out each and every one of those seats. In an interview with The Dallas Morning News, White says that he intends to sell out the Cowboys Stadium and he expects to do it this year.
"We're definitely, 100 percent going to Cowboys Stadium, no doubt about it. We just have to figure out what fight we'll take there. I want to sell it out [and] if we price the tickets right, it should. With our sport, people will fly in from all over the world."
Here Dana, I'll help you out bud since you've given me a reason to live for the last six years. Cain Velasquez vs. the winner of Lesnar/Carwin. Throw James Toney vs. Kimbo Slice since that would be the biggest fight in the history of MMA (come on guys, you know it would be) and to wrap-up everything put on a grudge match between Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann to get all those right-wing conservatives to salivate. Done, Joe Silva can have his job back now.

First of all you wouldn't be able to fill the stadium to it's full capacity. With the recent pacqio fight they only sold 45000 tickets for it because on the top level you cant see anything. Look for it to sell around the same amount of tickets and be considered a sell out just like before. I was hoping that ufc 103 was gonna be there but they put it at the aac which held close to 20,000. Hopefully this time they will put a better card up, no way rich Franklin is ever a main event again

Well as far as I know Dana likes to give many tickets for free, with that method its very easy to sell out any arena.

Just think of the live gate total he could get? 50,000 tickets averaged at $200 per ticket. That's $10,000,000. Not bad IMO ?

Somebody please correct my average $ per ticket if I'm off. The stadiums max capacity during a football game was 106,000. Could probably fit 110,000 for an mma

^You wouldn't be able to sell tickets to the upper deck like in football as you would for an MMA event since it would be too hard to see the action all the way there. In NFL you can get by with that since the action takes place over a 100 yard playing surface but MMA is relegated to a much smaller cage and that high up would make it impossible to know whats going on without watching the big screens.

...I wonder if Dana is including the standing room portion when he say's "sell it out" ?
.... If the did 2 to 3 huge title fight's,with one involving Brock of course and most likely GSP. Then do an Anderson Silva vs. Rampage super fight that would sell the place out for sure.
.....this is a dream fight I really wanna see....but I would love to see BJ fight Gilbert Melendez....and somehow end up on this card....lol.

i dont think Cain vs Lesnar/carwin and kimbo vs toney would sell out that arena.. they would need to come with something legit on this one.. maybe 2 title fights maybe a superfight *wink* *wink* I'd probably bring Machida/Shogun winner vs Rampage/Evans winner and if they could set it up.. GSP vs Spider if they couldnt get that it probably would throw in the Heavyweight championship fight.

Yeah, they would definitely need a crazy good card for that one. They'd need to have a lot of their heavy hitters on the card...but even then, I don't think they'd sell out the stadium.
