on the other side Maia is dumb if he stands with Anderson.
And if you reread the first post I said IMO Anderson will KO maia just like Nate did...one big punch. | With Maia's improved standup I dont think this will be a quick fight and he may not even get knocked out. That one punch KO by Nate was awesome and funny as hell but it was likely a fluke.
While I don't think this fight will go to a decision I do not believe that if Anderson is put on his back or even if Maia pulls guard that Anderson will likely get submitted. If Silva brings his A game and fights intelligently the way he normally does this fight could very well mirror the Thales Leites bout.
Every bit of my gut instinct tells me that Silva is training his ass off with Nog on submissions and will use his bb in bjj if put in a position to. Silva has vastly improved all elements of his game since his fight with Ryo Chonan.
Just my 2¢

i dont know if its been mentioned yet but mia subbed gonzaga in a grappling match. So imo if its on the ground anybody in the ufc would loose to mia. But anderson is no slouch and its easier said than done getting it there, then u gotta hope its not at the end of the round and he just waits out the round.

This fight is exciting for many reasons and the card itself has me wishing it happens sooner. If this fight goes to the second round I am predicting that Maia will sub the Spider...I have not yet taken my meds in case you were wondering.

^HENDO #2 for sure, no one beats him at mw besides AS, but i do think hendo would beat him in a rematch, and i think soares knew it as well thats why he was dodgeing having AS fight him

Considering that the conversations have revolved around MWs in Anderson and Maia, and names of Nate Marquardt and Sonnen were talked about as potential #2 and #3, you should have been able to reason that we are talking about MW rankings not p4p.
