I would have been pissed though if A.Silva hopped in the ring and pulled a Houston Alexander but he didn't. You don't get a beaten face like Maia by only running.
I still want to know if A.Silva was gassed in the later rounds. If he was he skillfully masked it imo. I was impressed with both fighters but wish the fight would have ended in a KO.
Regardless I think hes gotten more attention now and fans whether they hate him or love him will tune in to see how he performs against a more dangerous opponent. Moving forward he doesn't have any more bjj guys in his path so I dont see how any of his remaining fights can be boring.
Much like with Floyd Mayweather you will definitely see more haters tuning in hoping he gets knocked out (I gurantee it).
