Okay i wanna see Silva fight someone i just dont know who, but heres my issue. When hes fighting at anything other then MW he actually trys against the guys hes fighting. So the problem is with the MW division or at least with the fights they have given anderson. Come on 3 BJJ guys in a row who have no striking game... of course its not silvas fault Belfort got hurt.
If silva goes to fight anyone in LHW/HW he will prob destroy them, but that doesnt solve the problem of whats been going on in the MW fights. But thats IMO

The way Frank Mir likes to talk shit before a fight, I doubt Dana would book it. Can you image how pissed off Anderson would be. Or maybe Dana would like that? Either way, it would be a repeat of the Maia fight. Anderson is 2 or 3 levels above Mir on his feet and Mir wouldn't be able to take Anderson down. I'd rather see Anderson fight Shogun or John Bones Jones.

when somebody actually try's to fight anderson he fights them and ko's them wen they scoot around on there back or are just to scared to strike its boaring. Put him in there with sum1 that will take the fight to him and guarantee he wont be running away or pulling any stupid antics.
And imo mir gets ko'd because he is to slow for silva, it'd be forrest all over again.

Just couldn't leave it unchallenged...Silva has a huge problem right now and I don't know if it's fixable and could even end up costing him is UFC career. In 3 consecutive fights now, he really hasn't looked invincible, he's looked like a guy with a lot of talent, even more speed and an unwillingness to finish because he's above it all.
Mir v. A.S. would almost certainly be a repeat of 112. No way does A.S. want that fight to go to the mat so it'll be the dancing fool who doesn't have the power to finish Mir because A.S. isn't a power guy, he's a speed and finesse fighter (with a gawd awful attitude).
A.S. has also, by his own actions, put himself in a position where he can't be a card headliner or it lowers the PPV buy rate...you know...the way this company makes it's money.
After what was witnessed @ 112, A.S.'s next fight should be a dark match against a kangaroo. Maybe after that one goes to decision too he can work his way up to sub-card against a bear, if the bear doesn't insult him in the pre-fight that is.
In all seriousness, I'd like to see A.S. v. Sonnen. Chael was lights out in his last fight.

Doesn't Mir currently walk around at just under 300lbs??? Going down to 235 would be a pretty dramatic weight cut, and then he'd go back up afterward? I'd love to see it, I just wonder the effects on his body from doing that.

I'm not too sure if Mega-Mir can even make a cut down to 235 lbs, but if he could, I'd REEEALLY love to see some sort of double knockout on this one. Maybe one could come in with a staph infection and give it to the other. Maybe they could both slip on the mat and fall on their butts like dorks.
The one thing we can take away from this, is the following: The only person I wouldn't cheer for over Anderson Silva, is FRANK MIR.....but it's a close one.

We saw what Silva did to avoid Griffin's punches. That Roy Jones bullshit would be easier to pull on someone like Mir who is bigger and slower then Griffin. I see a knockout by Silva in this fight.

| best way to punish silva and make him work
put silva in a fight with another brazilian that actaully wants to brawl, thiago silva, yes brazialian and that will piss anderson off and he can fight standing or on the ground, my first pick would have been belfort but he keeps sucking up to anderson i havet seen that killer instinct in vitor since they announced his match with silva and mean while sonnen can talk all the shit he wants, i really would have like to hear dana's conersation with anderson, i wonder in ed soares would have to translate every f - c k that came out of dana's mouth, hell put dana in a boxing match with anderson right now if there was ever a need for a handicap match dana and forrest against silva with both arms tied behind his back
by the way, am i eye the only one that thinks bj won that fight?
