edgar didnt win the penn fight anyone with eyes and a brain knows he lost. penn actually boxed and connected consistently instead of dancing around like a jackass. penn deserves the rematch because he won the first fight.

Please stop trolling. If Penn had won the fight there'd be the same amount of people saying the same shit you are about why didn't win. The fight was extremely close. It's done. If BJ is amazing and unstoppable and can beat Edgar again, then just wait cause he's gonna get his rematch.

that being said maynard does not have the style to beat bj, size, speed and strategy separately can not finish bj, you need atleast two out of three to have a chance at a decision victory and all three to finish,

proof: gsp had all three and finished him (made him quit), and frankie had two out of three and still barely and controversially got the decision

to beat frankie you only need one of the three to have a chance and two of the three to finish with much better odds, maynard had size and superior grappling in the first match, and i bet maynard knows florian would beat him 8 out of 10 times just based on style

kenny still needs to fight someone other than the top three of maynard frankie and penn. he got two bites at the apple and needs to rematch sherk or face tyson sotiropolis etc
maynard should face pelligrino or sotiropolois or tibau

Diffenetly styles make fights. Sotiropolois has a ton of potential I don't think they'll face him with Kenny just yet and possibly ruin his stock. He'll get a title shot in 2 or 3 fights and the plus his fights are more exciting then Maynards. I'd like to see Maynard have to face BJ to get a shot mainly because I think BJ would ruin his dreams. Plus that would be a good test for BJ

Quite funny how Gray was all tip toeing around the fighting bj and he'd rather make sure he's ready 1st now bj not champ and he's instantly ready I hope frankie sticks it to him in the rematch if it happens

k this fight wasnt close. forrest/rampage was close (rampage won on a round by round basis, forrest did more overall damage). if you honestly think more movement and engaging first is a victory by default then theres no way to reason with you. saying edgar beat penn is like saying de la hoya beat mayweather.

and no im not some die hard penn fan that cant stand to seem him lose. i was happy to see gsp pound his face in. i dont like it when fighters who train for months and sacrifice almost their entire lives only to be screwed over by judges. no matter who it is
