| So uh... what happens now?
After the cluster fuck that was the post fight brawl where mayhem got jumped? I've re-watched it a few time and it's clear, Melendez starts it and backs up and Shields throws a couple sucker punches and gets pulled away (willingly). So what happens to those 2 as professional fighters who have guidelines and are expected to perform a certain way inside the cage, I'm sure who ever licenses them will suspend them?
Now, that's only the first part... Fact of the matter is we can blame both the Diaz boys for this thing getting even more ugly. Nick is clearly the first dude to grab Mayhem and try to take him down, after that there's numerous people who jump in... Including Nate who immediately goes for the take down ( ?). Anyway, watch when Mayhem is bent over on knees and the camera is showing the view from above the cage. Nate diaz is clearly punching and kicking him in the ribs, he easily hit Mayhem the most, although Nick did punch him in the ribs and spine.
My question is, wtf happens to these 2 bafoons? It's not enough Nick has been busted for smoking weed, Nate likes to flex and flip people off while he's got them in triangles (on free television mind you), now they're jumping people on a major network :\ I really hope they don't get away with this shit.. Maybe Dana even has some shit to say to Nate because IMO he did the most damage and was pretty ruthless. He even got up afterwards protecting Nick, then trying to walk towards Mayhem again, putting his first to his palm and most likely lipping him off. There's gotta be some kinda rules against this shit besides Strikeforce's, so I'm asking you.. what's going to happen to them?

Well I don't know what the athletic commission can do in Tennessee. Strikeforce holds most of their fights in California so who the hell knows? If they get in trouble, it would just be through that state so I don't know how that will affect them.

Prolly a suspension, or something like that, maybe cut, maybe. But personally i would love to see the UFC sign Mayhem,Shields, and then first have Mayhem fight Nate, then have Mayhem fight Jake. I would love to see personally Mayhem get some revenge on those pussie's and im sure Mayhem wants some.

Shields should sign with UFC and throw the Strikeforce belt in a trash can.
Strikeforce should set up Nick Diaz vs Mayhem Miller.
Aoki drops to #5 LW.
Mousasi gets taken off top 10, he shouldnt have been at #6 anyway.
CBS doesnt bother with Strikeforce anymore.
Strikeforce still doesnt learn to promote their champions.
Shields is a top 5 MW.
Dana thanks the Diaz's for getting Strikeforce thrown off CBS.

I actually missed the post-fight brawl, but I had DVR'd the show so i'll check it out in a bit.

rh | Nah. Henderson should ditch the 185lbs division and move back up to 205. That's just my opinion, of course. However, I could see Miller/Henderson, with the winner getting another crack at the title.. nah. Whilst that'd be a money fight, I'd rather see Dan Henderson vs King Mo.

The brawl is revealed as a secret plot of Uncle Dana's to strike a fatal blow to "Strikeforce on CBS." After the deal is nixed, it is announced that Mayhem, Shields, and Nick Diaz have all signed with the UFC.

I vote:
Mousasi ranks at 10... Yeah I'm a Mousasi fan... That fight with King was pure lay and pray from what I've already heard. My friend watched it, I didn't, but he told me that it seemed like King was going to get knocked out while he was on top.
Shields to the UFC, I don't like the guy, but I want to see him fight top tier fighters such as Nate Marquardt.
Aoki, go back to Japan, don't really like or care for the guy really.
Hendo should go back to the UFC, if he wants to miss his post fight interview due to another brawl again. Very unprofessional... Almost Anderson Silva unprofessional.
The others... who cares.

If Jake stays, Hendo/Miller would set up a rematch because SF's field is so shallow. If Jake goes, Hendo is a frontrunner in whatever tourney they have for the vacant belt.
I do agree Henderson looks more compitive at MW, however. I just believe--again, without any empirical evidence--that he's got it in his mind that he can win two belts in different classes again, and MW should be done sooner, rather than later. That cut isn't going to get any easier as he gets older.
