Yeah dude, judging by the picture (i didn't watch the event) that looks fucked up, Feel free to disagree since I don't know the exact details but damn. Look at Mayhem?! He's looking away while Nick and Jake all have their fist clenched up.
Oh well, whoever fault it is, it doesn't matter. None of this should happen period in a sport that is still in infancy.

Blaming Miller for this is ridiculous. How many times do we see a challenger get in the ring after someone's fight? It's called marketing. That was all he did. He was not aggressive, he was not physical, he wasn't even insulting. Hell he didn't even get a chance to be. He said four words before getting attacked, and then when there are already five guys pounding on Mayhem, Shields runs over and tries to get in a few shots before he gets pulled away. And for Ranallo to jump on the air and say that it was disgusting is plain insulting to the fans.

I bet Dana was laughing his ass off watching this show. While I enjoyed the fights Im sure many casual fans thought they were boring. If that fight were to happen in the UFC heads would roll and people would be loosing some money. It will be interesting to see what StrikeForce does considering it involves all there top fighters.
I have to hand it to Shields cause he beatdown Henderson. When Dan came into fight last night he looked fat and out of shape. THen you hear the stories about his weight cut and his back. I really think the back injury is more serious then Dan will ever talk about. You never know witch Dan Henderson your going to see at 185. Sometimes he looks great and in shape. Other times he gasses and doenst look so goo. Hell if Franklin would have had 1 more round with Henderson he would have won that fight. I really think Dan should fight at 205 cause he puts on better performances in that weight class.
Dana is probly still laughing about the scuffle and the fact that he didnt pay Dan the money he wanted.

Coker is lying, and apparently has no idea the value of the truth. If he was to say. " yeah we set this up but the Shields camp botched this up" he would be better off. but "Miller somehow found his way into the cage" . lmao WHAT? I call shenanigans

That was ridiculous. Guys enter the cage all the time to hype up a fight. Carwins corner didnt try to gang beat Brock Lesnar after his win. Miller was just joking around, he didn't deserve that. Hopefully Coker realizes that.

By the way no one wants to mention the contradiction? The announcer said "it's MMA, this happens all the time" He actually said that. Now Coker is saying " this doesn't happen" . Which is it homeboys?
Get on the same page. These announcers are not too quick on their feet. Here's where I appreciate someone like Rogan. I can hear it now. "how dare you sir!" Even Joe Rogan would have condemned all involved, not the dude getting a stomping.

I would like some confirmation on whether Mayhem was supposed to be in the ring or not. Usually the announcer with the mic in the cage AND the camera man know that a challenger is coming in. Everyone kind of looked surprised to see Mayhem there. Not only that but it seems a little too soon to play the Shields/Miller card after their recent boring fight.
This still does not mean Mayhem is in the wrong but I really do not think that it was a hype job like Rashad getting in the cage after Rampage beat Jardine.
UFC should kick Nate from their organization seeing as he was the biggest punk out of everyone. Melendez, Shields and Nick should be fined.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, Coker has shown himself to be a pretty honest and reliable guy, so I give him the benefit of the doubt of not knowing this was going to go down; I imagine one of his underlings either allowed Mayhem into the cage or possibly sent him there. Either way, it probably happened with this guy's approval; but I do believe Coker when he says he didn't know about it/didn't plan it.
