Noahm it is a proven fact the soldiers coming out of battle need to detune before going back into society. It's no different for a fighter they need to detune a little before being exposed. Not saying it is right, but when you get hit in a fight you react and it was only a few minutes afterwards and Jakes reaction was push. The rest of his camp started the bull crap

I see the point..sorta..if we take that analogy, then Shields should've thrown a punch or gone for a take down. Though I still think that is a moot point, as Melendez threw the first "shove".

To add to your analogy, Shields should have then spent 4-5 rounds in dominant positions and inflict minimal damage on Miller. I respect Shields ability to control guys and transition....but would it kill him to learn how to do some damage at the same time.
