Saying King Mo did the best makes me think you don't really understand the ground game... He was unable to do anything to Mousasi's guard. Yes he has nice takedowns, but Mousasi's guard was solid and he did a ton of damage from his back while going for triangles throughout the fight. Mo was just getting top position and holding on, while trying to not get hit too much.
Shields put on a clinic against a very high level grappler. He beat up Henderson even worse then GSP beat up Alves or Hardy, and Henderson is a far better grappler then either guy.
Bellator focuses on the lighter weight classes; they are just generally faster and more explosive, which leads to high paced fights. The trade off is they have a lot less power. Unfortunately for the LW match that was put on the SF card, Aoki has a style that does not translate well for an American audience. He likes to fight from his back; he doesn't have a solid wrestling base, and his striking is pretty weak. But he is comfortable chasing people around on his back, and the ref for the fight on SF was having none of it.
