Goran Reljic targeted for UFC 116 return | MMAjunkie.com

Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight Goran Reljic (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) expects to fight next at UFC 116 in July.

The fighter's manager, Zoran Saric, today confirmed the news with MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com).

No opponent had been determined for Reljic, who looks to rebound from his first career loss at the July 3 show.

UFC 116 takes place at the MGM Grand Gardena Arena in Las Vegas and airs on pay-per-view. It hasn't been determined if the Croatian fighter will compete on the night's televised main card.

Reljic, a six-year pro, returned from a near-two-year layoff due to injuries and a subsequent back surgery at UFC 110 in February. After dropping from light heavyweight (where he defeated Wilson Gouveia in his promotional debut to earn a $75,000 "Fight of the Night" bonus) to middleweight, Reljic suffered a unanimous-decision loss to C.B. Dollaway.

Reljic is training in Croatia but will spend part of his camp at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas in preparation of the UFC 116 fight.

As MMAjunkie.com recently reported, fellow middleweight Kendall Grove recently said he'll also be fighting at UFC 116 and conceivably could be matched up with Reljic.

hope he does get grove. hell shake the ring rust & smash grove. as much as i think grove is a douche, the dude is entertaining as hell & puts on great fights & isnt scared to get in there
