I doubt it GL...how many fighters get cut all the time by the UFC? We see it time and time and time again.

Dana saying that he might cut Tito could just be him doing damage control ahead of time for the UFC's reputation. I really don't see Dana cutting Tito unless he blatantly snapped without being provoked or something to that effect that would cause his fans to completely turn. I'm not saying he would condone Tito's actions, but Tito is still a big draw and it might take a little more than this for Dana to cut him.

The organization shouldn't even have a comment about this until the facts are presented. Instead Dana is talking to some bullshit gossip site about it? If it is all true, then yeah cut his ass, but seems like Tito's being judged already when at this point he hasn't even been convicted. | What medical reason did Tito have for beating on a woman? If he was diagnoised with delirium as Page was then you would have a case. Rampage didn't physically assault anyone and he also didn't cause that woman to miscarriage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDtfyUUfeog
If found guilty I would rather Tito be punished somehow then cut from the UFC. Otherwise we know where hes headed. Anyways as a fighter he will always have my support, as a man if found guilty hes lost my respect.

With his arrest and Jameson pressing charges I think it's safe to say that he did inflict some type of violence towards her. She looked visibly distraught and emotionally wrecked. That does not come from leaving the toilet seat up.
I don't think I have to wait for the full facts because I do not wanna hear them.
You can officially take me off the Tito Ortiz support wagon.
Fuck you Tito.

It will become a cool down period and Tito can get therapy. | This is completely offtopic but I just had to say your sig owns. Im a fan of the Spartacus show myself and looking foward to season 2. Hopefully Andy Whitfield will get his cancer properly treasted.

Anthony Johnson was arrested for assault and battery (his g/f) and never got released so why should Tito?

Fuck you Tito. | I may feel this way after I hear the facts, she did look devastated. Quote:

He would represent the UFC to this audience and the media as well that they would tolerate this from their icons, who are role models to many. Oh wait... Rivethead posted my thoughts as per usual before me in another thread. I don't even have to post really, so I'll stick to the lame one-liners.

heres my thinking, you got silva who doesnt wanna fight it seems. and you got tito who just whupped up on his woman, no matter what his reasoning dont sit well for a ufc fighter. So heres my Idea why not put them in a catch weight match, and loser gets cut from the roster. Or better yet put tito in with the ax murderer at light heavy, cutting him is to easy put him with someone who will beat the living hell outta him for 5 rounds and if he dont take the fight then cut him and be done with it.
Although I gotta admit spider vs tito with the loser being cut might just get him the same beating, but you get the general idea sometimes firing is to easy Dana dont like tito anyway so why not send him off and make a good match at the same time. either one of the two matches I listed would be a great one to watch, might as well make a fight that might actually be worth watching outta this mess .

They don't have to treat fighters identically. It will simply be what's laid down in the terms of the contract. If there's a provision in there for things like this (i'll bet a lot of money there is) then they have the power to make the decision whether to let it slide or cut him. With Rampage they chose not to, that doesn't therefore mean they are forced into the same decision with Tito.
