| Mariusz Pudzianowski wins again at KSW, horrible display...
I just watched the Pudzian fight, 40 seconds in and he gassed, kept going for takedowns, threw terrible punches and most bizarrly, the fight ended after 2 rounds and Mariusz got the Majority Decision win.
He fights Tim Sylvia in 2 weeks and judging by this display, Sylvia would win on his absolute worst day.
Check out the fight and let me know what you think?

I am Polish (background), just gonna get that out of the way. But the bottom line is, he's got so many muscles to feed oxygen to that I think inevitably, cardio will always been an issue for him. Maybe I'm wrong in how it works but he is still very new to MMA. I think he has a high risk of losing to Sylvia if he can't manage a win within the first 2-3 minutes. And that's not taking into account his defense against strikes.

Just watched the fight man - Pudzianowski was terrible! his punching technique is horrible (like his coach said in another thread) & he has no gas. If he fights sylvia I don't rate his chances whatsoever, even if he is the strongest man in the world.
EDIT - just realised I repeated OP's exact thoughts - its exactly what happened though!! - repd

Seriously I have seen worse and some of the TUF heavyweights were downright horrific in comparison.
With that said, he is just too big and has ABSOLUTELY NO technical aspect in his game.
His boxing coach, if in fact he made those statements, is spot on. He has absolutely NO response offensively and defensively for a standup battle.
What he does have is a pretty big neck.lol.
IF Sylvia makes this a kickboxing match, he will win easily. If he brawls with him he will lose. I still think that Timmays chin is gone and if one of those...whatever you want to call them...punches land its nite nite.

His technique was not too bad, he looked good for the first 2 minutes. I would say he's on about the same level as Kimbo Slice was in his last fight. However, he seemed pretty content to just throw a few punches and go into the clinch, and he stopped throwing straight punches after the first round. I don't see how a judge could have ruled it a draw, Kawaguchim didn't do anything the whole fight.
At the same time, I hope people remember the clinch-fests when Tim Sylvia fought with Assuerio Silva, Brandon Vera, and Jeff Monson. It's just too bad Pudzianowski did not give himself a full training camp to prepare for Sylvia; when its this early in a fighters career they can grow by leaps and bounds between fights by just adressing their major weaknesses.

I am sure Tim's got a good gameplan, I just hope he can stick to it, weather the early storm and get the W.
I just hope that they both put on a decent performance. If Pudz can manage to fight for a good 3...3:30 minutes a round....at least he'll get invited to fight in Japan, then maybe keep building as a fighter.
And hopefully Sylvia doesn't take Pudz lightly after watching his last 2 fights....otherwise, lights out. And that would be the last thing he needs in his career.

Mariusz will never ever be a Top fighter, he is terrible. He just throws wild punches and rushes towards his opponents, he has just like 1 or 2 takedown moves and they failed many times.
He gasses pretty quickly, he was lucky that the fight was stopped every minute so he had some seconds to recover.
In normal circunstances, Tim Sylvia should kill him.

after watching that fight he just had. Sylvia KO at the end of the 1st or beginning of 2nd. If he ever wants to be a beast at heavyweight he needs to lose some of that muscle and work extremely hard on his cardio and boxing.. or nothing will ever become of him. Maybe the next strong man competition.

The funniest thing of all is that Mariusz said some weeks ago that in 2 years he wants Fedor LMFAO.
Now what happens if for some reason Mariusz defeats Sylvia? What people are going to say? That Pudzilla can actually become someone important or that Timmah is just the worst fighter ever?
