Babalu vs Evans??? Where are the sources on these claims? I've been trying to find any news regarding Babalus future plans but have yet to find anything.

I imagine they'll have the 2 TUF winners have their title shots.
I'm not exactly looking forward to either matchup. I might not even order that PPV.
Have to see what the other bouts are.

This is mainly a gimmick card, with the two TUF winners getting their title shots. With reference to that, Serra will get annihilated, but I think Lutter still has more than a distant chance.
If Rashad/Babalu ends up being added, that might be the showstopper.
Vera/Sylvia will likely happen at 68, if they don't want to have Vera/Arlovski first.

Well a Evans vs Babalu would be a good match but I also would like to see either one of those 2 go up against Tito. Maybe the winner of them takes on Tito?? I mean just look at the comments from Tito and then the comments from Babalu after(this was shortly after the Babalu vs Chuck fight)....
Tito said...
“Renato Babalu is not really as good as they try to make him to be. They kind of painted the picture more of what they think. I think that was a typical fight for Liddell. That fight will go the same way each and every time. The first time went 2 minutes and 30 seconds and this one went 1 minute. Renato Babalu is not really that great a fighter. He’s a great ‘B’ fighter and an average ‘A’ fighter. He’s not at the level of (Randy) Couture or Liddell or myself.”
Sobral responded with...
“I earned my title shot after my results in the Octagon. I won my way up to the title shot against Liddell and Tito has his fight guaranteed on a contract. I won my way up with 10 wins in a row with the last three being at the UFC by submission. Tito had two victories at his two recent UFC fights with the judges helping him… very controversial results, not convincing!! Even though I believe it’s impossible, I really hope Tito beats Liddell because it will be easier to smash his face and get the title from him instead of Liddell.”
Babalu has way better valid points and he went the distance with Fedor plus submitted Shogun(I realize this was over 3 years ago). Tito should stop running his mouth because if these 2 met Babalu would make Tito tap for sure.

Babalu is a better striker than Tito and Babalu can end fight ont he ground from top position and nottom position. Tito can only win fights 1 way, ground and pound. I think Babalu would put on a BJJ clinic against Tito.
The Babalu vs Fedor fight was actually under different rules, there were no punches to the face from the ground so that is why he lasted 3 rounds with Fedor, the fight was dominated all 3 rounds by Fedor but Babalu is still a warrior. His win against Shogun was impressive, Shogun now would be a much more difficult fight as SHogun is now much stronger physically, mentally and is more technically sound than he was back then, I think he was like 22 years old in that fight and if you look at his physique, he was not ripped like he is now, he was very skinny back then and not much muscle definition, now he is able to throw people to the ground at will.

well since they obviously know Rashad is a better fighter then Forrest, and they don't want Forrest getting crushed by Rashad...a fight with Babalu makes sense. i hope it happens at 67 if at all.

that'd be great to see a evans vs. sobral! keepin the fingers crossed!
i suspect that we'll see guillard back in action as well. he's due for another fight after that visious body ko that he had a few months back. it'd be bad ass to see him vs. fisher.
probably a hand full of lw's on that card to determine some things while sherk is injured.
