i'll go with leben all day

macdonald hasnt showed me shit that could beat Leben. yeah he subbed a GnPer who only made it big by going to a close dec. with Kendall. but he also showed a terrible gameplan, running blindly into the clinch with a greco guy from Quest, and getting thrown on the top of his head, and getting side mounted. he did get the sweep and win, but just his gameplan he wasnt even comfortable trying to stand with Herman. imagine trying to stand with Leben who's knocked out many guys in the UFC, and broken people's jaws.

say what you want about Leben's technique, but he makes up for it in scrappiness. he went 3 rounds with Doerkson, and didnt tap to some locked in submissions. he's a tough SOB with a solid wrestling camp, and can take care of himself. he's trained with AMC pankration and submitted Dewees, who has a very solid ground game.



i'll take 2 weeks sig on Leben.

i like leben, well i like to watch him fight, im not a big fan but seems no matter who he beats he will still be crap, if he beats McDonald people are still not going to give him credit he could be wearing the ufc mw belt and people wouldnt still give him his credit, im picking leben because mc hasnt showed me anything i thought herman was a shit fighter and just because he beat a shit fighter dont mean anything and i agree leben is alot better then herman

I am gonna go with Leben by KO probably in the first 2 minutes.

I still dont know why people think MacDonald is a good ground fighter, as far as I am concerned he was sloppy as hell with Herman. As someone that has been wrestling for almost a decade and trains in BJJ, that triangle choke was one of the slowest, sloppiest ones I have ever seen pulled off that worked. I dont think he even knew what to do. When he should have been pulling down on Herman's head he was throwing elbows. Anyone that knows BJJ knows in a triangle choke all you have to do is pull on the head and its over, why bother throwing elbows? I just have a feeling that Leben is gonna smash this guy.

it dont matter if he does, people are going to say he got lucky and this and that, alot of fighters never get respect but im pick chirs by knock out just so everyone that doubts him will have nothing to say until his next fight

No one has mentioned the size advantage MacDonald has. He is about 4" taller and should have a decent reach advantage. I know Jason is not known for his standup but he should be able to use his size to his advantage. Like Afro said, I don't like Leben's sloppy stand up even though he is a tough guy with a tough chin. I see JM winning this fight. Not sure how but I think he will find a way.

im taking leben by ko in the 2nd if not late in the first, mcdonald hasnt showed me anything to make me believe he can beat leben, his stand up isnt great, and lebens is better and shit saying lebens stand up is better is nuts because leben is sloppy as shit but im still saying ko
