I agree with the consensus.. He will be back in the UFC after a win or 2.. With that said, I do agree he is a warrior, and the type of fighter that most casual fans can identify with.. He does have some big wins in the UFC. But I felt that after that brutal Wandy rape choke KO that he suffered he was never the same.. I know he had been koed before that fight, but that one seemed to do him in.. He hasnt looked the same since, not just fighting wise, but even in his eyes.. You can see it.. In my opinion..

He should not have been cut after that fight....for a variety of reasons. I'll leave it at that.

It doesn't surprise me that they cut Jardine. It seems like in most of his fights hes not really even competitive. Sure he competes and comes to fight but you never really think hes going to get the win. In Japan a guy like Jardine could go on forever getting wins here and there but mostly bringing fights to people who need a fight. But, in the UFC its all about your record and what you've done lately and Jardine has not done much. Good luck to him though.

and thanks mason i missed this the first time | FORMER being the key word their. You are never going to see Rich Franklin in a title fight again. Sorry to say,but the LHW division is far to stacked, and theirs no way he is going to get back in the MW division. He beat Chuck at LHW, thats not a big deal anymore, maybe, MAYBE if he beats someone not on a severe loosing streak you can talk. And he lost to Hendo, a guy who was easily beaten by someone a weight class lower then himself.

I want Jardine in DREAMS LHW tournament. People in Japan will love him.
For some reason, people dont like Jardine. Cant understand why, the guy is a warrior. He always comes to fight, he never backs down, even with his chin. Never been in a boring fight, has big wins over TWO LHW champions. Why does a fighter have to be a contender or a hot prospect for people to love him. I feel Jardine fits in with Lytle, Fisher, Franklin, and Davis. THe guys will probably never see a title fight, but their some of the best fighters to watch, because they always bring it.
WAR JARDINE IN HIS NEXT HOME!!!! | Agreed, I'm a Jardine fan this is bad news for me. I'd rather see him stick around win or lose and continue to put on wars. There's a good chance that in the future he will be back..hopefully with a few wins. I doubt he has a chance vs King MO though.

People can love Jardine all they want, but he's just not improving enough. With the losses he's compiling that's not going to cut it. Now, he could come back at some point, but I doubt it. Jardine fights as though he simply wants to outpoint his opponents. He doesn't utilize his kicks enough when they could be his best weapons. His last real inspired fight was against Chuck. Even with his back against the wall last week he didn't fight as though anything were truly on the line, imo.

I enjoy watching Jardine fight but I did notice that most of his fights felt like the same fight over and over again. I kind of felt like he wasn't trying to improve his game. He still may though, and I hope he does. He has a good attitude, and I think that character is what adds the "Martial Arts" aspect to "Mixed Martial Arts."

Keith Jardine still can't block anything coming from the left. You'd think after multiple KOs and losses he'd learn how to block stuff coming at his right and until he does he's going to keep losing to average fighters. The biggest haters in this topic are the ones saying he should fight King Mo

I have to agree with some of the comments I think this was a bad move on the UFCs part. I was not his biggest fan so I'm not heartbroken but he always showed up for fights which is more then I can say for some UFC champs right now. He will be back but I don't think it will be as fast as some people think.

Goddamn I hate this move.
Give any fringe/gatekeeper in ANY division a continuous onslaught of ranked, top tier opponents and chances are, he's going to lose more than he'll win. Now give him ONLY ranked, top tier opponents and fighters of serious consequence and NEVER give him a gimme fight to bounce back and recoup some of his credibility by fighting less developed challengers on prelims etc. and he'll lose a helluva lot more than he'll win.
I call bullshit, but DREAM could really use him to add serious depth to their LHW tourney. Best of luck to Da Dean.
