how come mezger is retired? iseen clips of him and he was prity impresive against liddell and w silva,he also bet tito and was king of pancrase,i think he could of had a better inpact in the ufc,is there any chance of him fighting again?

He's 38 years old and was never good enough to beat the best fighters. His career is past him now. Very smart for him to retire so people could think of him as a pretty good fighter.

Mezger was supposed to fight Tito again at UFC 50 but he suffered froma stroke before the fight. Mezger was then replaced by Cote. I don't think Mezger is able to fight anymore. I'm not sure if the stroke was debilitating or not but I think it was his reason for retirement.
