Simply stated... noone can train to be an atheletic freak and thats what Lesnar is. |
Its ok, you know nothing about wrestling and I understand that. You see that Brock won a NCAA title way back in 2001 and assume because of an NCAA title that Brock is the better wrestler. Not realizing that in the sport of wrestling most of the time the NCAA champion is only slightly better then the guy who came in 8th. Its why at the NCAAs you have so many 5, 6, or heck even 10 seeds winning the championship. The best guys are not that much better then the rest of the field. There are exceptions for truly great wrestlers like Sanderson, Jones, Smith (both of them) and so on but Brock will never be considered of the greats of wrestling.
Cain was a 2x All-American and wrestled in one the deepest HW classes of all time (Two Olympic level wrestlers where in his weight class). Brock took off almost 10 years from wrestling while Cain has never stopped wrestling so any advantage Brock may have had is out the window now. Size won't matter because in college the limit was 285 and in MMA the limit is 265. Add in Brock himself said he has lost 30+ pounds is not going to be putting it back on the weight difference come fight time will be about 25-30 pounds. Really not that much for a HW.
I honestly thought before the fight that out of the two Carwin and Lesnar, Lesnar would be tougher for Cain. But after that fight, there is no way in hell Lesnar beats Cain. His striking is horrible and he is really not that fast, compared to Cain he is a goddamn snail. Cain is every bit as an athletic freak that Lesnar is.
