| UFC 61 card officially finalized!
The following is an updated look at the upcoming UFC 61 "Bitter Rivals" pay-per view scheduled for July 8th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada:
UFC Heavyweight Title:
-Tim Sylvia (c) vs. Andrei Arlovski*
Grudge Rematch:
-Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock*
Undercard:
-Frank Mir vs. Dan Christison*
-Yves Edwards vs. Joe Stevenson*
-Josh Burkman vs. Josh Neer*
-Hermes Franca vs. Roger Huerta
-Drew Fickett vs. Kurt Pellegrino
-Jeff Monson vs. Anthony Perosh
-Gilbert Aldana vs. Cheick Kongo
* - The only fights at this point guaranteed for the live PPV (meaning they definitely won't be a non-televised preliminary bout) are Sylvia/Arlovski III, Ortiz/Shamrock II, Mir/Christison, Edwards/Stevenson, and Burkman/Neer. The rest will probably be preliminary bouts.

I'll definitely watch, just not as hyped up for this card as I am for WFA and Pride OWGP. The SHamrock vs Tito match has good hype, just hope it isn't a slaughtering again.

Or if it is, let it be the opposite as last time with Shamrock slaughtering Tito this time instead. Then at least we get one more, and with that rubber match there will actually be some drama. With Liddell-Couture trilogy, everyone expected Couture to win so it didn't feel as big as this one could. Same with Arlovski-Sylvia, everyone is picking Arlovski feeling Sylvia's win was a fluke. If Shamrock pummels Tito this time, mix that with Tito's performance against Forrest and Cote, and in a third match you don't know what to expect. Mix that with their marquee name value and legit heat between the two, and you'd have yourself quite the little rubber match.
I like Hermes Franca as much as the next guy, and I'm all for the veterans making PPV over TUF guys, but I'd personally much rather see Burkman and Neer than Franca and someone I've never heard of.
