In my humble opinion with Brocks pay check (highest paid mma guy in the world, chuck second), the UFC would be nearly financially incapable of making this fight "free on SPIKE".
It would hurt them IMO, but it would bring in alot of casuals, Brock being free would have tons of ratings especially if aired with minimal commercials. Tons of marketing and plugging on prime time TV would be essential to promote this fight and propel it to its full potential (Brocks hot right now too in the publics eyes, recency effect). Ultimately IMO it would not be counterproductive, you gotta spend money to make money.
.....and thats the bottoms line cause STONE COLD SAID SO!

this seems like it will be Danas way of making it up to the fans. i feel like Sheilds might debut here because its in Cali. Also Kris Mccray and Denis Siver were supposed to fight on this card because it was supposed to be in Germany wonder if they still do because its in Anaheim now.

I think Lesnar/Cain has the potential to go all 5 rounds
Is Rampage/Lyoto just a rumor? I haven't heard anything of this, yet.

.....and thats the bottoms line cause STONE COLD SAID SO! | Uh, correct me if I'm wrong. But didn't Lesnar make 400k when Fedor made like 4mil for their last fights?
That aside, this card looks to be kick ass, and I can't wait.
Edit: Sorry must of had a brain fart, they both made 400k, not sure why I was thinking Fedor pulled in 4mil against Werdum.

As much as I want Cain to win im going with Brock for this. He's just going to take him down and smother/TKO him. Cain's too small to prevent his inevitable takedowns. Isn't Brock like 265 and Cain's like 230? Kinda a big difference there. I think the only person that may possibly beat Lesner right now is JDS... GO JDS!

Velasquez is about twice as good as Lesnar in all areas except wrestling where they are about even and in MMA I'd give the edge to Velasquez. Think back to Lesnar/Couture and imagine Couture had very technical and good striking and factor in what happened in the Lesnar/Carwin fight. It's pretty obvious what is going to happen. If I were to just base my decision on that alone I think it's enough to go with Velasquez BUT then you have to factor in that he can follow a gameplan. What do you think his gameplan will be after he has seen the Lesnar/Carwin fight? If Carwin had stuck to a gameplan of just trading on the feet with Lesnar there is no way he would have lost. I was fully prepared to change my mind about Lesnar if he had done anything impressive in the Carwin bout but he just looked terrible in all areas. I just don't get how someone can watch his last fight and think he can beat Velasquez in any area. That is laughable.
The only way Lesnar wins is if Velasquez seizes up and stops being able to move.
