Cheick Kongo caught this guy, CHEICK KONGO, one of the most over rated HW's in the world alomst beat this guy (you know the guy that Frank sub'd in like 3 secs).

It was not a submission, it was a Ko actually.

Quote:
No one in the world can beat Brock Lesnar, call me a nut hugger all you want, but it is the truth, I am only telling it like it is. Brock is bigger, stronger, faster, smarter, and has the best equipment, trainers, and supplements that money can buy. He is only getting smarter and better everyday. Brock beat Shane after a one year lay off due to a career threatening injury, does that mean nothing to some of you guys?
WTF are you talking about? He is far from being the fastest and the smartest fighter in the world. Not to talk about his technique.
Who says that he has the best trainers in the world?
Maybe he has all what money can buy but there are few things that money cant buy and he does not have. he does not have experience and he has too many holes in his striking technique.
No one can beat him? LMAO, Shane Carwin almost destroyed him, a good striker has all the chances to defeat him. Afetr what I saw I am pretty sure fedor would destroy him.

Quote:
Just look at the motherfucker he is retardedly huge, who can realistically compete with that? You can use jits all you want but it does not matter when you are on you back getting the shit beat out of your head from all directions, ask Frank Mir.

Frank mir is not the best BJJ guy, secondly we already saw that to beat lesnar you have to attack him and punch him. He does not counter, he just runs like a little girl and covers his face.

Quote:
Do some of you guys think that the only reason Brock sells so many PPV's is because he is from the WWE? You all think that Dana gave Brock a title shot so early in his MMA career because he merely is a recognized name and puts asses in seats? HELL NO, Brock is unlike any other mixed martial artist in the world, Dana knows it and Brocks ppv numbers speak for themselves.
Dude that was sarcasm right?
mmm knowing you I am afraid that you are actually serious. Damn dont you realize that its only because of his fucking WWE past that he was signed with UFC after only one fight against a nobodie in japan?
Do you really believe the shit that dana says? he earned a fucking title shot inmediately after a desicion win over Heath herring (Not a Top 20 guy), then he defeated an old couture, defeated the overrated frank mir and barely defeated a gassed Carwin who kicked his ass for 5 minutes.
If it would not be for WWE, he would have been fighting now in dream against the likes of Minowaman or Bob Sapp.

Quote:
You newbs need to open your eyes and come to terms that Brock IS in fact the best HW in the world, and will be for years to come.
LOL you call us noobs when you in the best of cases have been watching MMA for 2 years. Brock the best HW in the world LMAO, what a fucking joke.
Fedor and Overeem would beat the hell out of him, Shane carwin would destroy him in a rematch, JDS will beat him. Your brock lesnar is not even a Top 3 fighter. He has a horrible stand up, all he has is his wrestling and heavy hands so he can do GnP. technically there are plenty of guys much better than him.

Brock best HW in the world......

Peace.[/QUOTE]

much as I love you, it was a submission, not a KO. He rocked him with the hook, then slapped on a guillotine and didn't let go

no disrespect pashak or any one else but actually i think alot of informed mma fans on this forum would say brock is the best heavyweight in the world and i dont think that is silly at all, its just an opinion that i happen to share and it is rooted in fact not fantasy, brock is absolutely a formidable opponent for fedor and/or overeem even if he he fought them at 250 just to sweeten the pot.

This is why people hate Lesnar's diehard fans. You can't say something like "no one in MMA has a legitimate TDD with Brock coming at you" LESS THAN 10 DAYS AFTER SOMEONE SHRUGGED OFF HIS TAKEDOWN and made him panic like he didn't know they were fighting for real.

Please, just watch the fight and see Carwin stuff the takedown and acknowledge it. It will make you look like a real fan that doesn't blindly follow someone. If you want to say afterwards "No one under 265 is going to stuff the takedown" then you might even have a legitimate argument.

And on the flip side, for anyone saying JDS or Ubereem would beat Lesnar because they are better strikers, please remember he would not be striking with them for long. Everyone should stop assuming Cigano's ground game is anything like Nog's until he does something there. I know he didn't look too hot getting armbarred in his loss.

I'd say he's a possible formidable opponent. He hasn't faced enough fighters to abolutley know anything. Against Overeem he can certainly overwhelm AO with wrestling, but against Fedor I think it would just be a matter of time before he gets finished. Fedor has fought bigger fighters and better wrestlers and won everytime.

There are things about Brock I like (as a fighter) and things I don't... he hasn't looked great from bell to bell in any of his wins... but, he wins.

Omg......a post in this thread that is NOT full of nutting nonsense. I was beging to think this was troll breeding ground.

Every please read the second line like 50 times. He hasn't faced enough fighters for us to really know anything. Its ok to be a fan. He has shown potential but we don't know yet.

Its one thing to say you think brock can win cuz (enter informed opinion here). But to appoint him as the best bar none is about as premature as an 18 year old pimple faced brace wearing star trek fan seeing live tits and ass for the first time

Lesnar is not some unstoppable force in MMA. He also isn't some WWE reject who is a farce of an MMA fighter. Both extremes in this argument are just immature and silly.

Lesnar is absolutely one of the top couple of Heavyweight MMA fighters in the world. His game has some holes in it, and he hasn't fought a complete fight from bell to bell yet. However, all he does is win, and his physical abilities are unique and unlike anybody we've ever seen in the sport before. His wrestling background is also top notch, and as good or better than anyone out there.

I'm not a Brock lover or hater, but I respect his abilities, and think he is great for the sport on a lot of levels. There is nobody in the sport that Lesnar wouldn't stand a good chance of beating, Fedor included.
