Brown is a class guy and would never blame it on outside factors because that would take away from his opponent. The fact is, Manny won, but I highly doubt he would have stopped the Brown we have seen in the past.
Oh yeah, and it's MIKE, not MATT. Maybe you're dealing with some emotional stress that is hurting your focus????
J/K | You're right I was actually writing some stuff to a buddy of mine named Matt Brown
Anyways, Forrest Griffin talked about this in his book. If you're a pro then act like one. No, I have always focuses and use a compartmentalization technique. I drink my coffee or water before training and by the time I am down I stop focusing on all else outside of what's in front of me.
Have you ever heard fighters like Wandy or Shogun or Fedor or their teams give reasons as to why they lose? Dude, its MMA anything could happen. Manny was the winner that night, I still think Mike Brown takes it 8 out of 10 times.
Let's not discredit Manvel's win with whatever was going on with Mike Brown.

And on Forrest's book.....do you mean the guy who ran out of the ring following the Silva fight (has been said he was more focused on wedding) or broke down in the ring after Jardine?

Nope, couldnt do it. Sat here for about 15 minutes and could not think if anything that Manny could do to beat Aldo. Maybe he'll pull a Matt Serra but other than that I have no idea how Manny could beat Aldo.

I can not stand gamburian, his ego by far over shadows his ability as an athlete. I think the only thing that keeps him fighting is his stature. Its hard to deal with a super thick and strong guy with such a low center of gravity. I think its safe to say he is going to try ad hold aldo down the whole time. I really really hope aldo's allure dont fly out the window with a loss to a guy such as manny.

I didn't say he utilized it the best, I said I first heart of this great concept from his book. I think guys like Fedor and Moose (Mousasi) implement it way better than he does.
I think we both get each other's points. rep'd |
