As soon as Swick loses, UFC is going to use him as a steppong stone to many of the good fighters that will be coming to UFC. Swick just isnt that good.

I'm a big Swick fan but he really got exposed in his victory over Loiseau. I don't see Franklin coming back soft. After Machida knocked him out, he went on his tear of the UFC. I would imagine he will do the same this time. But, I really do hope Swick can pull out the upset so I can make fun of my girlfriend (she says Franklin is her secret bf)!

I call Franklin in dominating form for this one. Swick has a nice streak going, but I think this fight will be his glass ceiling. The guy's just not that developed yet.
Though I will admit there is a possibility that Franklin comes back gunshy and lacking aggression like the Crow did. That would be dissapointing to watch.

He fought an underachieving and apparently psychologically unconfident fighter and took him to a decision. A win is a win, so all respect to him, but it wasn't a particularly impressive one.

The best fighters learn from their loses...Franklin is a smart guy he will come back better than ever and I dont think Swick stands a chance against Franklin even if he came out the same way he did vs Silva....Swick is OK but way over rated he didnt hurt Crow with everything he hit the guy with then bitches out in the 3rd round cause he knows the first two are his. This is going to be another highlight reel knockout for Franklin but maybe in the second round...he will just shake the ring rust off in the first.

Odds are def. in favour of rich here I think and hope he wil win convincingly as I'm a huge franklin fan. But theres always the question of how the defeat will affect rich, if anything I think it will only make him stronger. As for the question of rich getting the shot after only 1 comeback fight I think we should go by wut rich asks for. If rich asks for the title fight the give it to him otherwise let him keep building his confidence first.

I don't think most fighters would complain with that and it seems only fair as a fan, though I'm sure some would disagree.

i think franklin would win but swick does have a chance since franklin's chin is questionalbe, swick could knock him out, either way i think this would be a great fight and it will prove if franklin is back and if swick is really good or tilte shot worthy
