This thread is STUPID...it shouldnt be talked about...this should be deleted I just see fighters as fighters and human beings they all bleed the same color and for alot of people thats the only thing they look for in a fight.

Just because it doesn't factor in for some people doesn't mean we should say it shouldn't factor in for anyone. Should little kids in Croatia not cheer for Crocop because he is Croatian and they can identify with a hero from their country? Same for someone starting BJJ in Rio De Janeiro cheering on Nogueira. There's nothing wrong with cheering on someone you relate with, whether the relation is because of background or ethnicity. Just because fools can't make the distinction between racial lines without sliding down the slippery slope of discrimination doesn't mean everyone should have to walk on politically correct eggshells.

I could care less about race or ethnicity.I judge fighters based upon talent, excitement, and personality.

Race has zero to do with what i watch and what i don't watch.... i like fighters from all over the world with all diferent backgrounds. most mma fans seem to be the same. i'm not big on nationalism (its one of the first forms of control).
i wish pride would read this thread so they would know they didn't need to have an american in every fight on their US cards. people want to see good fights. and it will have a few fights without the fucking usa chants.

I do not care if the fighter is pink. If they are a good fighter then I want to see them fight other good fighters.

i watch all fights and i respect all of them for risking their lives, but personally, i support Armenian and Russian fighters.
