Chuck will finally get to avenge the loss, and all will be well. Then later next year I'm sure we'll see the axe murderer get well...axed. LOL.

I didn't think it looked like the same Chuck as today in that Rampage fight. He looked rather slow and thin. I just figured it was pre-juice, excuse me, pre-Xyience. :grinsmile26:

I could be wrong, but didn't Chuck have some type of leg injury when he fought Rampage? Of course it's still not an excuse, because Rampage whipped him pretty good.

I'll be happy to see Rampage in UFC. The guy has personality and his entrances in Pride were always something to look forward to.

Rampage is not the same fighter he used to be. Chuck will destroy him if he fights like he has for last 2 years. 5 fights, got his ass kicked by shogun and won 4 Decisions against weak opponents. And Ninja and Lindland fights could have been either way.

I agree he fought like crap against Shogun, but Shogun is #1 in world.
He did beat Lindland and Ninja, they are good so it was close, but still a win.

I think Rampage > Chuck still...his style is not good for Chucky.

I think this one depends on which Rampage Dana bought:

Rampage the training machine was the dark skinned Randy Couture. He brought so much game, you had to weather one hell of a storm to win against him. Chuck lost because a well trained Rampage takes your best shot, does not end up any where near goofy street and hands you as much or more in change. The Japanese love "superhero's" and the Rampage of old was right out of a comic book.

The Rampage that went to pot over a girl, stopped training for the most part and lost his aggressive nature had a bad time with tier 2 Japanese fighters! The few more matches I saw him involved in, before losing interest in seeing what was left of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson mimicking a fighter, were pretty much really bad decisions going his way.

They need to get guys like Rampage, Kevin Randleman and Vitor Belfour to join in on the next TUF. Try pairing up a Vet whose lost his edge with a like styled noobie of each weight class who's all edge and in need of some serious polish. Might do a world of good for all concerned, fans included. Hopefully they can have some of that noobie excitement rub off on them and we'll get back some of the most interesting fighters of all time.
