Whoa, Ninja and Lindland are grapplers though there not strikers they present a different problem then Chuck does, Chuck presents a knockout problem (notice I did not say a striking problem) I still think if he cant knock Rampage out, or set up a TKO by rockin him then hes in a world of trouble.. and if he fights Rampage like he did Jeremy Horn then hes done for. If the fight goes to the 4th round Rampage will win, slope or not. Its still very hard to knock rampage out, Rampage has the better boxing so its gonna be hard to outstrike him and its hard to strike with this guy and defend his takedowns cuz hes so strong.. hes Chuck's kryptonite.

I cant believe we're going to see Rampage-Chuck. I am willing to bet big that Rampage will win this. They need to fight quickly. Chuck can't handle a guy like Rampage. Chuck pretty much did what he does today and Rampage was weaving through all his punches before landing some shots on Chuck. Unlike the others who chuck faced, Rampage can come back with some punches of his own. Chuck never had to worry about his opponents strikes as he fought bunch of one dimensional wrestlers and grapplers. That is going to change. Rampage's ability to strike will allow him to take down Chuck and we're gonna see some GnP with some knees to the body and them possibly elbows (if Rampage is used to throwing elbows by now). Rampage doesnt buy into the hype created by Dana and he has more confident fighting Chuck than anyone Chuck had faced in his recent fights. Chuck against Rampage is going to be all Rampage.

Talent-wise, Rampage is the better boxer, better wrestler, stronger, better conditioned
Chuck is the better counter-puncher, more KO in his punches, quicker on his feet, good takedown defense.
Rampage just has to bring his A game and I can definently see him winning, but if he brings the game he brought in the last couple of fights.. cant see it.

Rampage knows what this will mean for him. He knows how much chuck makes as a UFC champ. He knows he can be marketed like crazy once he becomes a champ. With people roaring in the background and the sound of "Cha-Ching!" ringing in his head, Rampage will bring his A+ game. |

This would help the ufc out so much. Rampage would rip through Griffen and the others from tuff. Its kind of a toss up between Chuck and Rampage now. There are too many factors to tell yet but I cant wait for the rematch!
Oh yeah, I had this Avatar before this post or any talk about Rampage being signed.

Chuck is 37 years old, hes a striker.. hes gonna be on the verge of 38 when he fights Rampage.. hes on his way out, and I think Rampage is gonna show him the door. Chuck is not a boxer, and boxers dont normally last this long, hes a KO artist with wrestling skills.. how many MMA fighters lasted past 38 and stayed at a top level? Randy Couture and thats it!
the problem here is, Chuck isnt fightin guys that pose much threat to him.. they were good fighters some of them but not serious threats, hes gonna go from that to steppin in the ring with a monster.. on the verge of 38? logically, its not gonna be pretty for him.
