I actually see Franklin winning this one. He is far more experienced now and rich fights with much more confidnece now. They're quite similar I think and despite Lyoto's perfect record, I think rich can take Lyoto now. I was never impressed with Lyoto. This fight really doesnt matter anyways since they both lose to Silva. |

I think rich is scared shitless of Silva. Silva beat the crap out of Horn and I am talking just toying with the guy. I think the reason why he wanted to go into the clinch was because he knew Silva was the superior striker. Well, the clnch failed and I dont see Rich coming close to beating Silva at all. He loses on all grounds. If rich had some ground game I would say maybe but he's a striker. rich can play second fiddle from now on. |

Rich will learn from his loss. I'm sure he is evolving his fighting style and trying to come up with a solid gameplan versus Silva. As far as a Machida rematch is concerned lets just see what happens when that fight goes down. A lot can happen to a fighter in three years.

Rich will for sure learn from his mistakes and try to improve in areas but he does have a long way to go if we are talking Rich/Silva 2 judging off their last fight. That was just brutal and 1 sided. I'm looking forward to Franklin's return fight though sometime next year.

I agree with you here. If Rich has one brightspot it's that the fight only lasted 3 minutes. I would have to think that he would be more demoralized if Silva had just owned him for 25 minutes.

agree'd franklin has alot of work to do, he is somewhat young he can work on his game plan, come back stronger work on it more, he has a future in front of him, odds are if they fought tomarrow the fight wouldnt be the same , anderson still would win but it wouldnt be like the first, but franklin has a long road ahead of him if he comes bakc stronger then its going to be better, if it might take him longer to recover

He is so severely outclassed by A. Silva. You can;t beat a fihgter who's game is hte same as yours and his si world class while your's is good.
