snakebite: Now your the one making assumptions. I NEVER EVER ONCE said all he does it fight cans EVER. What i did say was he still fights cans, meaning despite his reputation as the best fighter ever he sure had no problem fighting dan hardy who isnt even a top ten guy. And btw, its not just the ufc, he can choose to accept any fight he wants as well as turn down any fight he wants. Im pretty sure BJ hasnt fought any low caliber or low ranked fighters since actually never i dont believe.BJ is not my favorite either, he is one of my favorites and i am honest about his abilitys, i think he has ridiculous BJJ, ridiculous boxing, (and yes i do think all around he is a better boxer then edgar,he just didnt even want to fight last time) He has awesome take down defense and amazing flexibility. I also think BJ is not afraid to fight people at there own game, call it stupid but thats what it takes to be the best. I have never ever ever seen a fight where BJ lays on someone untill the fight is over for a victory.

As Sakara mentioned, GSP actually does NOT have the ability to approve or turn down his fights, nor does he even try to. He fights whoever the UFC grants the next shot to.

If you disagree, why don't you name some of the NON-cans under contract to the UFC that GSP should have fought instead of Dan Hardy or any of the other guys. If you could also please provide the info as to how GSP refused to fight them to back up your point, that would also be appreciated.

1. gsp fought who the ufc wanted him to fight
2. while hardy wasnt in gsp's league and he made hardy look bad, who else was there for gsp to fight?
3. maybe gsp is really just that good and on another level from anyone else he can face?
4. kos wasnt ready for his rematch, and fitch just now earned his. after kos and fitch behind gsp, the division is a little thin and while it has good fighters its lacking anyone elite who seems to be a challenge to gsp's throne
