I would quote the post by rivethead but I don't want to waste the space on the forum copying something so large. Probably the best and most well written thing I've ever read on this forum, repped (not like you need it).

Watching the first Noons/Diaz fight, I don't really know what people are saying when they say Diaz has a clearly better skillset. Diaz was getting lit up on the feet, and he shot for several takedowns, and couldn't get the fight to the ground. Diaz got the cut because Noons started timing the shots and throwing the knee and caught Diaz clean, right in the eye socket. It was really surprising that the blow didn't break Diaz's orbital, but the guy has a really hard head.
As big of a Diaz fan as I am, he got his ass kicked in the first fight. Noons is a much more technical boxer and while Diaz's style has worked very well against his last 7 opponents, he looked terrible striking against Noons. It was only 1 round, and maybe Diaz had a slow start, but just looking at the first fight its hard to pick Diaz as the winner in the rematch.

However I'm not sure how well Diaz's taunting and patter shots will fair against the very crisp stand-up of Noons. I personally think Noons finishes this or in general wins very decisively unless somehow he can manage to get this fight to the ground in which I think he'll either be arrogant or naive to do.

Nick is a natural WW who had dropped down to Noon's natural weight class...The first fight was really in KJ's wheelhouse in terms of power and conditioning, while Nick had lost musclemass to make the cut. I still think Noons is favored--more for the fact that he's a bad matchup for Nick than for his overall ability--but time will tell.
