I dont doubt Randy what so ever I believe theres still a couple more top 10 lhw he could beat but no in all honesty all the top dogs at 205 would eat randy alive, so unless the UFC gives randy another Free Pass to a title shot I dont see another title run in Captain America's future.

I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

i think couture has a chance against alot of guys, lyoto shogun and rashad might be to elusive for him to get his hands on but anyone that he can get in a clinch he can beat or atleast make is a competitive matchup, he's captain america people

Goddammit when is Franklin going to get a little respect?! He ha slost only to Macida, A.Silva, and Hendo(contreversially) . Rack up wins against guys like THAT? Stupidfucking statement . Granted Page does slack sometimes but I take Franklin over Couture any day.
I think Randy has a lot of interesting matchups at 205 and in true Captain America fashion he would probably pull out a coyuple wins when the world thinks he can't do it but sadly I can't see a title shot in the immediate future. | You forgot Vitor.
I am a huge Couture fan. I think he is capable of beating some of the top ten but he will never get the title again. I ahte to say it but if he were to test his chin against some of the better strikers it will be a short night for him.
Liddel re-re-match anyone?

Most likely he'll get another shot. I can see Shogun holding on to the title for a while or Evans becoming champ and laying and praying. Once the champs clean out the division which would be a while, I think Couture will GET a shot.
Now does he deserve it? Probably not. I love Couture but the guy has received so many title shots for absolutely no reason. For Example; Tim Sylvia.
Couture is just a draw now, not a serious title contender but his legendary status will just make him a draw.
I think he can hang (keyword hang, not beat) with Jones, Bader and Rampage but against Machida, Shogun and Lil Nog I think he wouldn't stand a chance. The only two fighters I think he can beat is Franklin, Ortiz and Liddell, the old timers who hasn't evolved like the division did.

Liddel re-re-match anyone? | Vitor ! Wow I usually don't brainfart THAT damn bad! It's a little busy at work Still dont like the statement though.
However Randy's next few fights go I've learned to never count him completely out. With all the 205 matchups that are already in the works I think Rich might be an option if his arm is healing well.

I think he can do good against a few of the Top 10 205ers, but I would definitely like to see him do Superfights.

If you bet against Captain America, chances are your gonna lose. I think Randy against anyone at 205 would be good, he could out wrestle Rampage. His clinch game is very good, it frustrates most people, the guy took down Brock Lesnar for christ sake. Hes on a three fight win streak, I think hes taking the backdoor into a title fight.

I think if he gets matched up right he could have one last title run. I say he gives a lot of people a run for there money at 205, and he is looking really good still and not really showing signs of slowing down. His next performance will tell all. I really think this is the guy who is back to the Couture who destroyed Sylvia and Gonzaga..
