But they're talking about a Title Shot at Light Heavyweight, not Heavyweight.
He can't hang with the Heavy boys anymore.

**"It's a good bet Couture could clean up a couple more wins against guys like Rich Franklin or Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, but then what? The UFC might be able to squeeze a couple of big money fights out of Couture, but aside from the aforementioned guys who are closer to his age"**
I don't get this, Rampage is 15 years younger than Couture, and is the same age as Machida but he's suddenly classed "old" like couture. This is the Same with Franklin too. However i don't feel that Franklin has any big big fights left in him, i feel rampage has plenty. I think Couture would have little chance against the big names in LHW at the minute. But Id give him Thiago Silva, see what they're both made of.

I think Couture would actually match up well with either of those guys styilistically. The best option right now would be for him and Franklin to go at it.

No title, but there are still interesting fights to be made with him. He has experience, comes in shape, and really utilizes his strengths.
I hate the title of the article, though. Beating Toney says nothing about his readiness to face true MMA opponents, not to mention champions.
