Yeah, Most people on here would not believe some of my stories, or the fact that I'm VP of a swinger's group in Dallas. But back to Duffy. He'll be back in the UFC in no time. I'm excited about seeing him in strikeforce. They might even give him the next title shot against Overeem....That would be awesome!

no he will not be back. his fight with Madsen was put off because he was supposedly injured, I got a tip from someone (who is very close to Todd and let's just leave it at that) stating that Todd was filming a movie was faking an injury to finish filming.
The UFC found out and he's gone and reasonably so!

He hasn't fought since May, and they decide to release him because of poor performance after they schedule him for a future fight and after he pulls out due to his apparent injury? Does the UFC think we forgot that they still have Heath Herring under contract, and he hasn't fought since 2008.
TheKidInside might be right, I'd believe that as a reason. Or him talking about the UFC on the underground forums....wtf....why are fighters so retarded. If you are a professional athlete, when you go online, never use your real name if you post of forums and if you do, don't talk about REAL LIFE shit. Basically, act like a political figure. It would probably only take him about 2 wins to get an invite back to the UFC. And next time they will tell him to keep his mouth shut if he plans on keeping his job.

Sucks if he faked the injury to do a movie. Not smart, but I can understand how fighters have money issues and need work....this could work out better for him if he signs with strikeforce because then he can get work in Dream, Senguko, K-1, and maybe even Bellator as well....A guy like him can probably find 4-5 fights a year in those orgs.

He'll get scooped up by another org real quick. This is like a X-mas present to all the other orgs out there, having a young and talented fighter cut from the biggest organization in the sport (some might say prematurely) doesn't happen every day.
He'll get his fights and most likely earn his way back after 2 or 3 wins. The usual.
As for Never Back Down 2 or whatever he was filming, I hope it was worth it man.
