LEMOORE, Calif. – MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) was on scene for today's "Tachi Palace Fights 6: High Stakes" official fighter weigh-ins in Lemoore, Calif.

Today's weigh-in ceremonies took place at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, the same site as Thursday night's GoFightLive.tv-broadcast fight card.

Main-event competitors Kyacey Uscola and former WEC light heavyweight champion Doug "The Rhino" Marshall, who meet in a middleweight special attraction, made their bout official, while Tachi Palace Fights middleweight title contenders Anthony Ruiz and Leopoldo Serao did the same. In fact, all 18 fighters on the card – including big-show veterans "Razor" Rob McCullough, Corey Hill, Diego Saraiva and Micah Miller – all made weight on their first trip to the scale.

Marshall (12-3) looks to remain undefeated as a middleweight after losing his 205-pound title to current UFC contender Brian Stann and dropping to 185 pounds. Meanwhile, Uscola (18-15) looks to a post a victory in his first fight since competing on "The Ultimate Fighter 11."

Ruiz (25-13), a veteran of 38 fights who's fought for Strikeforce, the WEC and EliteXC looks to claim his fifth-straight win en route to claiming Tachi Palace Fights' vacant middleweight title. Standing in his way is Serao (16-7), a submission ace who began fighting vale tudo in 1998.

In the evening's official co-main event, former WEC lightweight champion McCullough (18-6) looks to move to 2-0 since his release from the UFC's sister promotion, while his opponent, Hill (4-3) looks to battle back from a gruesome leg injury suffered in an infamous December 2008 contest held under the UFC banner.

And in a potential fight-of-the-night scrap, "Tachi Palace Fight 6: High Stakes" also sees submission aces and Georgia residents Miller (14-4) and Saraiva (18-9-1) lock horns.

As a reminder, MMAjunkie.com's John Morgan will join Tachi Palace Fights' broadcast team to call all of the action from Thursday's event. All 9 bouts from the evening's card will be featured on an internet stream, available for $9.99 at GoFightLive.tv.

The full weigh-in results included:
Doug Marshall (185.6) vs. Kyacey Uscola (185.2)
Anthony Ruiz (184.2) vs. Leopoldo Serao (183) - for vacant middleweight title
Corey Hill (155.6) vs. Rob McCullough (155.8)
Micah Miller (145.6) vs. Diego Saraiva (145.6)
Luis Gonzalez (126) vs. Darrell Montague (125.4)
Collin Hart (184.6) vs. Joseph Henle (185.2)
Stephanie Frausto (115) vs. Paulina Ramirez (114)
Andrew Martinez (182.8) vs. Mark Matthews (185.8)
Art Becerra (144.8) vs. Gabriel Solorio (144.8)
I hadn't even heard about this.

I would like to see Doug the Rhino Marshall destroy Uscola, but not sure that's gonna happen. The lanky one, Corey Hill is back in action against team Punishment member Razor Rob. Gotta love watching Micah Miller...I still don't understand why he hasn't been resigned by WEC or signed by some other organization....maybe when he gets to 155 the UFC will sign him. Bellator female fighter Stephanie Frausto who's got some skills. Joseph Henle who was in TUF 11....he was the guy with the Guida like hair who didn't need to fight, but really liked to...had a wicked come from behind win on the show, and would have been nice if he was Nick Rings replacement instead of Hammertree.

Should be a good one.

Interesting read on the Rhino here:

From champion to outsider, Doug "The Rhino" Marshall looks for return to top | MMAjunkie.com

He is at 185 now and 4-0 since he slimmed down. He was always a massive overweight HW, then a slightly overweight LHW, now a middleweight....I will keep an eye on him. I'd like to see him get a decent payday since he was a huge draw for the WEC before they dropped his weight class.
