I do give him props for his last fight with Tito though, he was doing sloppy boxing in that fight still but his takedown defense was solid. He still has more to show/prove before entering the top 10 in my book. No doubt he'll be there in the future though.

Anyway I guess I rest my case. I looked at most of the fighters ranked below him and the only one who could really change spots might be Nakamura, but I'm stretching here. I guess I'm wrong about Overeem. Seems the quality of opponents he has fought earns him that rank. Forrest hasnt fought as many high level fighters as Overeem either.

There is no scoring system but Alistair Overeem has fought 6 times this year and 7 of his last 8 fights were against Arona, little Nog, Belfort, Werdum, Kharitonov, Mauricio Rua, Vovchanchyn.
Win or lose thats stiff competition I dare say if he was in the UFC he be a top 3 in the LHW or HW division.

I agree Overreem is ranked over Forrest because of who he has fought, but I think Forrest would beat Overreem. Forrest can take a lot of punishment and he doesn't gas.

I think Alistair has more weapons than Forrest both don't have much of a ground game, and Alistair has that Thia Kickboxing background and Forrest does not have heavy hands only 3 tko's.

Ahh F-it Overeem is a better all around fighter than Griffin, I actually hate watching Forrest...but he does have lot's of chin and lot's cardio...that's how Chuck beat Overeem.
But yes Overeem > Forrest in the rankings and he definitely needs to be in the top 10.
Overeem is a very exciting striker and every match I watch of his he leaves it all out on the floor.

I guess you are laughing at me saying Forrest would beat Overeem?
Or that Forrest hasa good chin and doesn't gas?
Laugh all ya want Forrest vs Overeem would go like Chuck vs Overeem except Forrest probaby couldn't finish Overeem, unless of course Overeem KO'd him which can definitely happen.
