Georges St-Pierre: “Josh Koscheck Has Definitely Gotten in My Head”

Prior to his current status as the world’s most “boring” mixed martial artist, detractors dissed welterweight king Georges St-Pierre for being a mental midget. While it appeared as though he exercised those demons by rattling off seven consecutive wins en route to reclaiming his title, GSP has admitted Josh Koscheck’s mind games have affected him.
“He’s definitely gotten into my head, which is a good thing for me,” St-Pierre said during this week’s conference call. “If you look at all the guys that I’ve fought in the past that have been very arrogant with me, I did very well.
“So it will give me more motivation to train hard, and [I'll] always think about the scenario in my head. When it is time to fight, I will have done my homework.”
While the soft-spoken champ has been more amused than offended with most of Koscheck’s comments, the French-Canadian refused to let his talkative challenger slide when he blatantly lied on the media call.
“That’s not true. He’s not happy at all,” St-Pierre stated after Kos claimed to be ecstatic over fighting in GSP’s backyard of Montreal.
What about St-Pierre’s squeaky clean image, is that too good to be true?
“He comes across different than what he is in person,” Koscheck said.
“That’s not true at all,” St-Pierre strenuously objected. “I’m not a fake person and you’re going to see on TUF 12 that it’s not true at all. I never derailed from the person that I believe I am and for what I stand for.”
Oh, and don’t even get St-Pierre started on Koscheck claiming he’ll engage in a shootout with the planet’s baddest welterweight.
“A third lie in this interview right now is [when he said] he’s going to keep the fight standing up … because I’m sure he’s going to take me down,” St-Pierre added. “I’m ready for the eventuality.
“No problem. It’s part of the mind games. Don’t worry. I’ll be ready for you, man. I’m going to keep my wrestling sharp.”
The two will do battle at UFC 124 on December 11th inside the Bell Centre in Canada.

The last time I saw GSP "aggravated" was when he was responding to BJ's accusing GSP of being spoiled, tapping to strikes, a quitter, etc. prior to GSP/BJ 2...and GSP BROKE BJ. Broke him. Kos is waking a monster, I do believe.

GSP is a gentleman, but he is still a man.
He is taking all of this talk in. This troll-doll is digging his own grave.
Kos will pay for ALL of this shit, believe me.

I can't wait to hear what Josh has to say after he gets his face caved in. Plus, I'm really looking forward to hearing the Canadian crowd during and after the fight.

Montreal, as a city of fans, is RABID to say the least and when the hometown hero is in the main event, that just makes it all the more sick.
Maybe Cro Cop fighting in Croatia, given that I don't think he has ever fought there in a major promotion, but that is the only comparison that I can think of.
In Vancouver, the crowd was as loud as a hockey game for Rory McDonald, but GSP in Montreal? The ground will shake.

I have no doubts Georges is going to man handle Koscheck, And I am a St pierre fan... but everyone saying that josh's talk is writting his own death wish, Do you all think hardys words meant nothing? all we got out of that fight is 25 minutes of georges advancing positions and a couple submission attempts,Koscheck is no dan hardy, he has fantastic wrestling and just as much or more KO power then hardy, this will be St pierre's hardest battle since the last fight with koscheck.

And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

lol kos's hair makes him look like a douche, i hope there are no allegations of gsp greasing in this fight. people dont realize now how big of a problem this will become in the future. it is not as cut and dry as seeing or feeling is somebody's leg is coated or drenched in grease, it can be applied on hours earlier and wiped off multiple times and not even felt on the hand, but the only way to get it off is to wash it off, there are also a infinite number of lubricating products that stay in the pores. maybe im a sucker for conspiracies but i would guess that nate did grease in some way. too many jackson fighters being accused. it looked to slip out way to easily against palhares skin, sweat does make it slippery but doesnt have the same affect as lubracating products, and im sure every1 here is well aware of that.(who doesnt beat the meat every now and then)
