"If I put my hands on a man, he will fall down" - Belfort sounds so epic in his interviews lol
Belfort would definitely have a chance but my money would be on Silva, especially in a five round fight. Belfort hasn't been tested in a long time. In the past couple years he's fought Franklin, Lindland, Terry Martin, and a few other not so big names, while Silva has been facing some pretty freakin solid competition
but it would be interesting to see if Silva can be as vicious against a guy who he KNOWS has enough power to put him to sleep...would Silva still be game to trade knees, punches and include all the facets in his striking arsenal or would he play it carefully and try and dance around and kick at vitor and keep him as far away as possible.
Now that Sonnen has tested positive, we may get to see this fight sooner than expected.

With the situation of Sonnen I think the most logical idea would be to cancel Belfort vs Okami (put Okami against some other fighter for a No.1 contender match) and make Belfort vs Anderson.

Nah, they don't want Okami to ever get a title shot, so they will make him fight Belfort. :-)

Pretty sure that Anderson Silva isn't stupid and will expect a flury of strikes directed towards him so I still have Silva beating Belfort if the fight were to ever happen.
But still, don't care who get's KO'd both fighters will provide a very entertaining stand up war.

I don't think Belfort is ahead of Okami or Marquardt, really. 3 way tie, perhaps? They all need to fight before getting the shot, imo.

Outside of being entertaining, he no way deserving a title shot over Okami or hell even Marqarudt right now without fighting at least one of them.

I think Belfort will have a very tough fight against Okami. I think his style is very bad for Belfort. Okami has a good chin, great wrestling and great cardio. If Belfort cannot knock him out, Okami could win by points. I think ruling out Okami is a mistake.
