I am pissed at the csac as most of you are but not letting sonnen completely off the hook, I dont agree with their rules and guidelines on drug testing but he knows what they are and knew that something like this could have happened.

Oh please stop with the conspiracy theories. Its as though you just cant accept the fact that Chael lost and Silva finished him. This is about as dumb as people claiming that Forrest was paid to throw the silva fight. Do you guys think the Todd duffe threw his last fight also? After all, he did manhandle his guy for the entire fight until the last minuets of the last round. The thing with conspiracy theories is that if one thing is a conspiracy, then everything is a conspiracy.

I am now convinced that snakebit, if that is his real name, either paid Sonnen to lose the fight because he had a large wager on Sonnen or paid Silva to hold on until the last round, because again, snakebit had a wager that Silva would win in round five, or potentially both (we all remember the 1919 black sox).

I am also convinced that snakebit hates the mentally handicapped by his consistent use of the word "retarded".

Ok.......so let me see if I've got this straight....

Anderson Silva whipping Damian Mia's ass while acting weird vs Chael Sonnen winning the title and it's found that he was on Steroids. Which news story would make more of a "Mainstream" impact on the sport and the UFC? I mean seriously? Some people will never get past Abu Dabi.......

I'd be almost willing to bet that in the end, he wins the appeal, no harm, no foul, which in turns makes the rematch with Anderson that much more intresting (and profitable).

Sonnen seems to be a really smart dude. I don't think he'd screw up the rest of his career like this. I won't be surprised if this is all a part of Sonnen's plan.

That would also explain a few things:
1) Dodd's iffiness when talking about the situation
2) Dana & Co, setting up a rematch when they knew his test would be dirty
3) Sonnen fessing up to being dirty, but, not offering an explainaiton.

When this all plays out I have a feelings that we'll all be saying, "Damn, he played us again".

It just all seems a little too fishy and coincidental to me.

Don't think anyone owes anything to Anderson either. Not like he won for the fans, he won for himself, just like all fighters do. Any fighter that says any different is just kissing ass.

Further, Anderson won because he is simply better than Chael. I was super impressed by Chael, but Anderson is on a different level.
