Chael Sonnen has pulled out of his MMA Live appearance, which was scheduled for tonight. MMA Live host Jon Anik announced the following today…

"I regret to inform you that Chael Sonnen will actually not be on the show tonight. Unable to join us. I hate to have to tell you guys that."

Sonnen was expected to discuss his recent suspension from the California State Athletic Commission. Jon Anik offered the following comments…

"I don't really know why, and anything that I'd be throwing out there, too, would really just be speculating. I can tell you that Chael very much wanted to break his silence on 'MMA Live' and made very effort to put himself in a position to do so. For whatever reason, he's not going to be on today's show. I don't know if it's because the appeal situation is fluid and maybe making an appearance on a high-profile media show would be something that might hurt his case. Maybe something he said live could be used against him. I don't know the reason he's not going to be on but certainly a disappointing reality for us when we arrived here this morning to tape the show."

there isnt his side of story , he took drugs nobody forced him to do it... After all those trash talk he said how Anderson is fake and all that shit , he is only one fake and he try to win by cheating , and he try to destroy someone with cheating who actually work hard everyday and Cheal will never be Champion even if he win the belt people will never see him as a champion , that is price for cheating , deal with it...

Well yes your 100% right . But to hide and act like it never happed won't fly .
I don't hate or love Chael. (even if he mad me laugh all the way up to the fight ) My respect for him (as if he cares ) would be at a higher level than it is now if he comes out and say's . 1-He fucked up 2-people who live in a glass house should not throw stones.
I am not one who needs a sorry to move on just a little honesty.
Being honest can go a long way if your looking for forgiveness .

how do you know who is and isn't using PEDs and roids? how do you know he cheated? you saw him do it? nope your just making stuff up .

Chael, I don't believe...unless directed by his legal team, would hide behind anything and come out and tell his side. He's made himself known for articulating in a way few other MMA artists do, let's hope that skill set does not hurt this challenge in his career.

Ummm.....well, he admitted to taking an illegal substance, and he tested positive for an illegal substance and.....he wrote the name of the illegal substance down on a piece of paper? So yeah, no evidence at all.

I agree man if you look at the situation in a matter of fact way, he did drugs, and got caught. But surely you want to know what he has to say. It's not something I can see him being able to justify, but I do want to know why he felt the need to take drugs leading up the most important fight of his life. It's a pretty deal in my opinion.

Great post man, completely agree. I think Chael would have done himself a huge favour from a PR perspective if he had come out and been clean about it (which is kind of ironic).
