Vitor has speed, some of the best in mma if not the best (aldo, machida, etc.) so he would be a threat to anybody striking. vitor has good boxing and striking but anderson is simply better. We havent seen vitor truely hurt in the standup department since maybe liddell or overeem but anderson is clearly the better striker and vitor will have to worry a lot about anderson. that being said anderson wont be able to clown him like he did against forrest, franklin, and irvin. With vitor's speed anderson will have to always have his guard up until vitor is finished. Vitor may not be the most deserving and he might not do well against wrestlers like chael, okami, etc. but striking wise he has the best chance against anderson and will make for a very exciting standup superfight. We need to see vitor and wand go after it again as well. although i dont want to see wand get ko'ed anymore.

thinking bout this match up i see anderson pulling the michael jackson game plan. lets hope vitor wont let him

The way I see it,yes Vitor is very fast,and explosive. But I can easily see Anderson just using foot work to avoid this in the first few rounds. This is five rounds,and it works in Silva's benefit. The long layoff,ring rust,and weight cut are all going to be the factor that takes the fight out of Vitor. By the time the 3rd, and 4th rounds come,Anderson is going to do what he did to Leben.

Vitor wins in R1&2, Anderson wins if it goes longer.

At least we know Silva won't be able to come in the ring and clown around this time. Well, he can try but he won't get away with it. I predict a UD for Silva, he will try to take his time and wear out Vitor.
