yeah bj is a tough one for sure, up until recently he was high up in the p4p but he has more losses that wins a ww, so its hard to call
yes he has more loses at ww than wins but look at those loses. gsp and hughes. he took the title away from hughes who was on his 5th title defense and 13 fight win streak

I personally had him at #4 before his two losses. It’s all a matter of opinion.
agreed this whole p4p is based on opinions. however fedor got handled by werdum with ease imo in his last performance and hes agruably the greatest p4p. and really i dont think of there last performance but their legacy as a whole. thats why randy is up on my list
I am more then willing to put the winner of Lesnar/Cain fight in the Top 10 P4P. I was thinking about Cain too, but then Lesnar would have to be mentioned and Lesnar just hasn't done enough to be a Top 10 P4P fighter. i think after Cain wins he could easily be placed in the Top 10 maybe even Top 5.
Good point. The next fight for Cain will say alot about him in terms of P4P standings.
Thats the thing about this list, its interchangable, and can be completly different tommorow.
I can't really argue that one way or the other. Unfortunately, my knowledge of the Women's Flyweight division probably isn't what it should be.
I think if she might even be strawweight, she was only 100lbs...but she fought at fly and light a lot...there is a spinning backfist somewhere around 1:10 that is lovely, and then this eventually devolves into an armbar festival.

Even if he should win, I couldn't see putting lesnar top 10 p4p with a win over Cain, simply because his size is going to be an integral factor in the bout. I think a win for Cain would speak volumes for his p4p status and propel him into top 10 for sure.

1. GSP
2. Anderson Silva
3. Fedor Emelianenko
4. Frankie Edgar
5. Nick Diaz
6. Shogun Rua
7. Jake Shields
8. JDS
9. Machida
10. Jacare
Have to be honest here, I very rarely disagree with you my friend, you are a very great poster but I have to ask, why Nick Diaz at 5 P4P? Don't get me wrong, I am one of the biggest Diaz bros fans there are, but really? Why so..
And with Jacare there, over guy's like Aldo, is crazy man. Beating Tim Kennedy in a close decision and beating Villasenor and an old Matt Lindland doesn't get you to the P4P list.
Not at all criticizing you my friend, just some input about 2 spots, the rest looks great.

with ease? Fedor rocked him and knocked him down and got caught in a split second, how is that with ease? That was the hardest fought win Werdum ever got.

So we have all seen the bullshit p4p list that Sherdog have, and mmafighting's is not much better. Anyway i was wanting to compile a p4p list for my own site and i was hoping you guys could add your own 2 cents.
Here's the guys im thinking of (in no order)
Shinya aoki
Georges Saint Pierre
Jake Shields
Anderson Silva
Fedor Emelianenko
Shogun Rua
Gilbert Melendez
Jose Aldo
Nick Diaz
Frankie Edgar
And heres a few guys who could just as easily be in it..
Jon Fitch
Gray Maynard
Bj Penn
Cain Velasquez
JDS
Machida
Theres probably loads im forgetting but it would be awesome if you guys could help me out, its a bitch weighing everybody up.
1. GSP for obvious reasons
2. A. Silva because he hasn't lost
3. Jose Aldo because I feel if he moves up or down he dominates his way to a title fight
4. Jake Shields love him or hate him he is a champ who hasnt lost in 2 weight classes
5. Shogun because he is shogun
6. F Edgar because if he went down to 145 he's be just as tough as at 155
7. Nick Diaz because he fights all over the place and wins and is a champ
8. Gilbert Melendez because he is champ and beat Aoki
9. Fedor because of his record only. Should he win against AO or Barnett he moves back in top 5
10. Eddie Alvarez. You could also put Rashad, Machida, Aoki, JDS, Bader, Maynard, Fitch, Koz or Jones in the next teir of fighters who could be #10.
