I have seen nothing from Brock's previous fights or athletic career that would suggest he will gas in 1 and a half rounds.
Cain's hands may be quicker than Brock's, but after seeing how many shots Brock took from Carwin to the head (and we are talking about one of if not the hardest hitting fighter in MMA) I'm kind of thinking...."who cares?" Brock's skull must be lined with 3'' of steel.
I don't care much for Brock at all....it irks me that he is the HW champ. But he is an athletic freak of nature who is an absolute donkey kong inside the octagon.

I don't really think you can make the argument that Frank is as hard to keep down as Velasquez. Granted, we don't really know because we haven't really seen Cain off of his back, but I'm sure he'll be able to do more then just get stuck in half guard and continue eating shot after shot while barely moving. Frank has never had good cardio, ever. I think that is the reason he is so immobile sometimes when he's on his back, because he knows if he has to work too hard too quick he won't have much left. He even said that was the reason he took so many shots in the 1st fight. Frank looks flabby even with muscle, and I've always thought he was kind of over-rated. I don't think he's ever trained as hard as guys like Brock and Cain. I mean, these guys are notorious for how hard they train.
and yeah Brock has a chin but if he tires out his chin won't help him much. and he was totally gassing in the Couture fight before he caught Couture, and we know how old and small he is, though that was only Lesnars 3rd fight in the UFC. and he slowed down in the 3rd round against Herring too, in a fight where he was on top the entire time. and the fight against Carwin, Carwin gassed after 2 minutes so obviously someone with cardio that bad isn't going to push Lesnar. and remember that Lesnar didn't even come close with his takedowns in the 1st round against Carwin.
and its pretty apparent that Brock doesn't like to get hit, you can see his face change when he takes a hard shot. Velasquez took some very hard shots to the chin from Kongo and was fine.
The thing is, Brock has been on top of his opponent in the majority of his fights. He's fighting a complete fighter against Cain and I feel he will have to stand up alot more in this fight than his previous ones, and you know he will get tired quicker when having to engage in alot more standup as opposed to being on top of his opponent for most of the fight. He's always been a wrestler and he just feels comfortable there, and I think he will panick when he gets hit hard and has to keep standing. Even if Brock does have success early I think Cain is too tough for Brock to put away right away. Oh well, we will have to wait and see.
