I said mostly wrestlers not all wrestlers even though Vera does possess very good wrestling too by the way while we are trying to be smart.

Jones has completely dominated every grappler he has fought, usually with his grappling. Bader has great wrestling, but I don't think he has the same versatility as Jones when it comes to grappling. Bader relies on that overpowering double leg and control from the guard, while Jones mostly uses a variety of highly technical throws and has shown a lot of skill in passing the guard.

I think Jones has shown himself to be the more athletic and skilled fighter, but Bader has a style that can nullify a lot of that. Also, a win over Nogueira is bigger then what Jones has managed to do imo.

The fact is Jones has not done enough in this sport to pick who he fights. He wants to fight top tier guys, well you got one.

Jones should shut up and fight who they give him.

exactly, i'd rep you but i gotta spread the love before I can.

Unlike mostly all of you I think Bader is going to wreck jones. I say Bader either pounds this one out for a TKO or grinds out a UD and we watch the confidence drain from Jones' body with every minute that passes. War Bader, Jones is a dead man. Knock him out Bader.

That "win" was bullshit. Jone's has shown more in his fights when asked to step up. Bader just looked for take downs and tried not to get ktfo by Nogeria.....

I think Jones was hoping to get a top 5 "big name" opponent. If he got a fight with someone like Forrest, Machida, Rampage and won in convincing fashion he would be in line for a title shot. He pounds the shit out of Bader he's still going to be a big fight vs a big name opponent away from a title shot. This is where i see his frustration.

P.S. Whoever stated before that Jones was gonna get pounded by Bader and KTFO...I'd love to make a year long sig bet on that one.

Honestly, some people on here are never satisfied. Some posters thought that hammil would bully him; he didnt. Some thought that vera would submit him or whoop him in the standup; he didnt. Some thought that Vlad would bully him around the cage and be an extreme challenge; he didnt fare better than anyone else did. Now bader is here, and those same posters are saying that Jones is still unproven and that Bader is going to trump him; and the thing is, even if Jones was to go out there and knock out bader on the feet or take him down and get a tko, THEY WILL STILL SAY THAT HES UNPROVEN. Fact is, nothing will please these people and no matter what Jones does, they will still say that hes overhyped and hasn't been tested.

Bigger because Jones hasn't been given anyone of that level. That's the only reason.

I have to completly agree with this, I can just picture it now. If he was to go out and finish Bader (which I see him doing) everyone will just be saying "wait till he gets in there with a real top 5 fighter like Rampage, he'll get exposed!!".

He has already earned my respect and I can honestly see him beating most of the top ten fighters and being more then a handful for any top five. I honestly can't say the same for Bader.
